The Sand Blaster Bait Caster is the only casting machine that gets you 300yrds! There is no competition, end of story. Watch and be amazed by how fast the line peels off the reel. Most of the time we get people to drop their jaw. Here are a few comments from some real fishermen. Not only does it get you out there in seconds, it produces more bites and bigger fish.

I saw one of these for sale at Bud's tackle in Assateague for about $999.00 I think. It's a cool invention but I've usually been able to land big fish in the surf by casting, and I'm an old guy. At least in the Hattaras area I've landed sharks about that big and they struck within 50 yards of the beach, plus large drum, stripers, and if I had to haul in a big fish for 300 yards that would kill me for sure. Anyway, glad I could watch it in action after seeing it in the store last week

Joseph Quintiliani well 295 or so (ish) no but seriously about 170 yards but the match fellas can cast a couple of hundred no bother at all. Baring in mind the world record with a rod and reel is about 320 yards albeit without bait and hook but even so it's a canny old whack isn't it. Although in real world terms you never need to cast much further than 150 yards to get to where the fish are.

I built one of these out of pvc. Worked great as far as throwing the projectile. However it never caught anything. I think that the frozen bait must’ve been a turn off. I was workings on the encapsulation of unfrozen bait when the place I was using it decided to ban the devices stating that it meets the criteria of being a weapon. I suggest that anyone considering building or purchasing such a device check the regulations where they want to use it.

The last 2 sharks made me choke up a little bit . Reminded me of fishing with my dad and every time we caught a fish the feeling is brand new all over again and we high five each other cause that’s what we were there for together to fish and have a good time trying . some of the best memories and times with him are all fishing trips in norther California we took together and him teaching me the ticks of the trade , my dads not dead btw , he’s alive and well I just love him , we are going fishing next week haha , what you wanted a sad story . ? ! . Ok we were fishing last year and he got his head ripped off from a shark that turned on him as he was trying to release it back into the ocean !THERE You people are sick

The only improvement I would say is being able to adjust the pressure in the compressor to get the ideal distance, it would help to solve "TheBlackLotusKing's" comment. Also possibly selling different casing sizes (same diameter but shorter or longer lengths). Great product!!

An aerial drone bait dropper would give more precise dropping points, but would be far more expensive and laborious to use. This seems like a cheap, simple and elegant solution. (I was quoted $3-10K for a custom drone bait dropper with 2lb payload)
@brianhaygood183
@brianhaygood183 8 жыл бұрын
+Skep Tical You can buy drones off the shelf for $2.5 to $3k that will easily carry 2lb. You could build one for half that, or thereabouts. Even a 3DRobotics Y6 can carry that much easily for a short time. Any of the drones that carry an SLR camera probably could, particularly since you don't need video, cameras, or anything else on the drone, really. You would only need to fly it about two minutes to get bait out and return. 300m is only ten seconds away at 10m/s, and most are much faster than that. For that matter, there are tons of model airplanes that could do such a simple flight and return to you and land on a beach or be caught with a wire.
@brianhaygood183
@brianhaygood183 8 жыл бұрын
+Brian Haygood All that said, it is pretty hard to beat what a cannon can do for $50.

Put it this way...a big bait and a damn long cast with the bait blaster 250-300mtr away from the beach...left a tiny bit of line in there....a good size 70-100lbs shark came by and take the bait...you think you'll have enough line to last the first run??and personally i dun think most angler have the needs for that...with that bait blaster thing at hand you'll need atleast 500-700 metre of line....and dun tell me you're going for small fish...then its a waste of money just buying that...cheers..

This thing is awesome. Do you really need to have your bait that far out to get quality fish though? Not sure how it is there but here in Hawaii all the nearshore game fish come within a few feet of the shore to feed on reef fish, I always have one rig casted within 20yds and another as far as I can get it. But 300 yds is a little overkill, but that's just for me. Like I said I don't know how the fishing goes there. Either way very nice invention. Love it.

Sharks dont come close to the shore during the day mainly at night. So that being said its more safer to fish during the day where you can see the water and also alot of shark fisherman can spend the night and fish at night.

Unless this works with proper tackle there is no way you landed any of those sharks with this shooter. You do not have near enough line to fight the fish, unless you are reeling back in half you line. So that makes me wonder what is the point in buying something when you will end up back in the regular casting range anyway.
