The Sangean SR-35 Pocket AM/FM Radio

I love this radio. After comparing it to my Sony ICF-P26 these past few days the Sangean SR-35 edges out the Sony ICF-P26 in audio quality. It's a keeper.

Hey, which one has more range/reception? And which one has less static and would you recommend if i want to use it when hiking in the forest?

@@yfdz6959 Both are excellent radios with similar sensitivities. If I had to choose one, it would be the Sangean, it has better audio compared to the Sony.

@@landonmiller6943 Another question. Is there a pocketsize radio fro sangean that is even better than the sr35 or is the 35 the best in pocketsize bigness? I want one to listen while running and keeping the radio in my pocket

@@yfdz6959 If you mean a radio that lacks a speaker and it's earphones only, then the Sangean DT-Sangean DT-180 AM / FM Pocket Radio looks interesting, but I don't own this model. It's more expensive than the other Sangean radio though. You can go even cheaper, there's a ton of choices here. Some of the real cheap Chinese pocket radios are actually very good. I would check out Todderbert's KZbin channel, he's reviewed hundreds of radios and points out the winners/bargains from the junk.

Hey there! I don't know for sure but I would guess they are comparable. I do know that there are two versions of the SR35 and this one (with good lettering) has less popping noises when you tune for stations.

@@walnuthills11 I caved, own its marketplace rival the Sony ICF-P26 and looking forward to comparing them both. Currently taking my old Sony ICF-SW100 and ICF-SW07 radios for a spin through the shortwaves this evening. Enjoyed your video!
