I am digging this, imo it's way more digestible than crit roll. Not that crit roll is bad, but these are shorter episodes and keep up the high energy. It feels like watching a TV series and has begun to change my mind on the solo scene.
@feagal6124 жыл бұрын
I agree, I haven't been able to keep up with watching CR - which is obviously awesome - because of the time drain. Though just to highlight something, I would think that the amount of energy that goes into making an episode of this is enormous, no mistake.

You could've just told the story as it goes, but your acting and your amazing voice make this soooo f*ing entertaining. Amazing great solo show. I always though soloing is like "go to chapter 2.1 if you hit or to chapter 1.3 if you miss". You taught me better. Now that my desire for Garrick's death is fulfilled, I wonder what becomes of Mord (which by the way is the German word for 'murder') and Simon. Will Mord make it? Is he able to fill the gap that the half-orc left? And where did these ugly centipedes come from... Man, I'm so desperate to learn more.... Quick, my friends, hit that forward button to the next video with your magic wand (and uncover if more dead orc bodies pave Simon's way)... :)

Simon acted in such a self-contradictory manner in this episode, I think I got whiplash. He goes to get revenge on Garrick, saves his life from the bugs, then saves him again from being backstabbed. Then fights him to the death anyway, at which point Garrick is eaten by more of the same bugs that Simon just saved him from. And Mord, Simon's ally, takes a dire wound because of him!
@MeMyselfandDieRPG4 жыл бұрын
Yup! Randomized results sure are fun!
@ianbyrne4652 жыл бұрын
I guess you could say Simon has a certain code of honor. He doesn't want to let his enemy be murdered by the creatures, and doesn't want to stab the man in the back. But is willing to kill him in self-defense/a dirrct conflict. After the fact, I suppose Simon doesn't really care what the bugs do after he's dead

Handful of things. Narratively having Simon fight against an overwhelming urge of vengeance, especially after that claim of such to Mord, who he then backed out of his promise to, AND called him out. Simon shouldn't and most likely wouldn't have called Mord out, and more likely stepped between him and Garrick without saying anything or trying to convince Mord to back off, for the moment. So assuming in the highly unlikely event Mord lives. He made an enemy, in all likely hood.(Edit: Reason-> literal seconds later where Simon recovered Mord.) Minor issue with your entry into the house as well. First stated it was eerily quiet, and passed by and tried all the windows and main entrance in order to find Garrick in combat, heated assault no less. Which there was no clue as to scuffling and thudding from outside near the doorway and window to elude to such? Oversight. I'm not trying to nitpick, even I know this is old content. If anything, it's more an observation that you get too caught up in the excitement of moment-to-moment circumstances. Not tying them together. Mord is an escaped Orc. His friend a Half-Orc was falsely arrested and executed because of Mords actions of escape and assault or murder of a guard/innocent. Even if Garrick did order AND execute his Half-Orc friend. Perhaps there should have been a moment to ponder that, given the overall situation and information Simon recieved from Mord? Simon doesn't strike me as stupid. Only massively unlucky, and perhaps a tad foolish. As many adventuring types are. Why point this out? Well, as I said earlier... It seems you get caught up in the moment-to-moment circumstances easily. Slowing it down a touch would likely serve you better.
@skiddwister91432 жыл бұрын
This episode is wild. 'This event stacks on that vow which stacks on his motivation, stacking on the moon cycle, changing the environment...' Oh! And the enemy is protecting a hoard of gold, hiding his 3-year-old daughter... I'm going to support you right now.
