One thing about the lights mechanic that you didn't talk about, that being the fact that it can be used as a last resort of sorts. When you turn off the lights while, say PNM is in the office (Though this works for any character normally deterred via turning off cameras), there's a 50/50 chance for the character to leave or to get a express trip to the game over screen. I feel this should at least be worth a mention, since it can be useful if you happen to have no cameras left and you're feeling lucky.

Sorry to reply to a three month old comment but im obsessed with the toothy mouse so i gotta Not only that but when he speaks he sounds like Mickey. Anne C(his actor) did their best mickey mouse impression, and he not only says very morbid things, he sounds pained and scared while he does it. The beloved Mickey Mouse tells you in a shaky voice that “you will never know the true meaning off suffering.” AND when he’s in your office, he sticks out against the background. He looks like he was copy/pasted there. He looks like he doesn’t belong, which makes him all the more terrifying. Add in the bonus of the music triggering dread in anyone that was scared by suicide mouse as a kid And you have a recipe for a fellow that will truly make your skin crawl. Legitimately I think he’s one of the most fantastically designed horror antagonists, at LEAST in a FNAF fangame.

A really neat balancing factor is that if you prioritize camera characters the timers for ace and undying will actually increase, giving you a larger grace period to shut off a camera and then stand still! Plus, even though it looks like you figured it out in the gameplay, you can let Disembodied sit there until a camera character enters and then get rid of both of them! Theres actually a lot of nuance behind the mechanic priority and its essential to beating the custom night nightmare modes. I've only heard of Treasure Island vaguely and what I remember is very minimal, but CHRIST is this game a genuine nightmare. The title screen Easter egg is such a brilliant idea which I couldn't see coming. Seeing You cover a fan game gives me such high hopes that you proceed in more fangame videos Down the road. Great job.

@deepsea53482 жыл бұрын
The thing about this game is, with the original Fnaf, it was a parody of our childhood nostalgia for Chuck-E-Cheese. With this, the devs took our real childhood nostalgia for Disney cartoons and mutated it into a nightmare. The effect is quite impactful.

I honestly had never seen footage from this game until today, but I have to say… I did a work program at WDW in 2016 and if I had known about this game back then, the night I got lost backstage with my friend would have felt a lot scarier! Awesome video, keep it up!

Honestly, Mortimer's inclusion as a very rare garantuee-death is such a cool inclusion. It pays homage to another creepypasta in a fitting way while also making sure that it's rare enough that it's unlikely to happen twice in the same playthrough. Love it!
@Vivigreeny252 жыл бұрын
Okay can I just say that it’s really cool that your videos are creepy as hell (affectionate), but you never use jump-scares without some form of warning. There’s never anything there that you aren’t fully aware is coming. It’s always clear when I can just turn the volume down and look away for a moment and enjoy the analysis. :)
@rockgirl67862 жыл бұрын
I love how you make these videos. Even when I know there's no jumpscares I find myself on edge expecting one٫ even to the point where I turn the volume off if you stop speaking for a certain amount of time. And it feels like I have to listen carefully to what you say the same way you would listen to the phone guy in the first 2 games desperately trying to figure everything out. It's an amazing atmosphere and I love it so much
@Falkuzrules2 жыл бұрын
I love to be reminded of this game. I never followed it or anything, I thought it completely died after the initial demo that Markipoop played, and then later I found out it went through a bunch of nonsense and drama and someone put gods into the story or something like that. I love seeing it again now, knowing that they still did their best to make something out of it even after it was a mess, and it's probably even worth that wait. Plus I gotta love the Oswald and SuicideMouse representation going on since I think it was initially just based on Abandoned by Disney specifically.
@aesiro13362 жыл бұрын
Well, Suicide Mouse was just a completely different creepypasta about a lost Mickey Mouse cartoon that was so horrible that a doctor who saw the tape killed himself with a syringe right after the viewing ended. There's a lot of copycats that give the general idea of the tape. I recommend watching at least one of them.

A few months ago, while looking for a new game to play, I decided to install this game and it was a blast! The first nights were definitely the hardest part of the game, not only because ur not used to the sounds but also the mechanics aren't very clear (when I first played I thought I had to turn off every camera Mickey was in lol). However with a bit of practice the game gets pretty easy, to the point where I passes nightmare mode 1st try! All in all, amazing game that I personally think it's a bit underrated

I remember when the demo originally came out, and I remembered it being one of the most anxiety inducing fnaf experiences I ever felt. While yes it was incredibly janky and the numerous weird choices in the later updates were very eh (but there was also some pretty interesting one's tbf) it still gave you that tight feeling in your chest even if was trying in all it's power to do so. And now seeing it be finished with a new and improved coat of paint and it still having that tight anxiety feeling truly makes it a fnaf and I'd even say a general horror game gem. Cheers Pastra, thank you for covering this game!

I've been designing games, and something that it has taught me is that tutorialization is one of the hardest aspects of the execution of a design, as you could have the best design ever but if you don't tutorialize it correctly, i.e giving too much or too little information in the incorrect way (which is an incredibly fine balance) will lead to a frustrating experience where the player feels directionless in the wrong way.
@Rspookster Жыл бұрын

Dude i just wanna add my review with this game because dude this fangame its just SOO good to the point where i think its better than fnac. The first thing i wanna talk about is the lore. Dude the lore of this game is soo horrfying. the fact that there were a bunch of employees that were " abadoned by disney " gets the freak out of me. And it is very deep lore too like you have a lot of questions like " why are they trying to kill me or who resurected them or why did we go there in the first place. some of them are never really asnwered wich keeps the entire mystery of the game. The second is just the custom night it self. The fact that the custom night adds a bunch of new animatronics that you dint even knew in the first place its just perfect. This makes the custom night refresh the entire game, instead of being just " a harder night than the 6 one ". The third are the cutscenes after you beat the night, dude the atmosphere of those cutscenes gives me SOO much freaks, because i died one time just because i saw a thing and instally died or i was not paying atetion and died. its just a such perfect mix of gameplay and it just freaks me out everytime i play it. The last one is that its just everything that a fnaf game ever wanted. it is A LOT more chaotic than fnaf 2, because there are soo many animatronics and they do soo many diferent things, it is a bit scarier than fnaf 1 and 3 atmosphere, the animatronics are soo much sacarier than the ones from fnaf 4 and 6 and it has a better custom than fnaf sister location. with that being said i kinda dislike some things. First one is the night 6, it is just soo ez to the point that i died one time and then i beat it, because once you get what you are supposed to do you just lift up your camera kill one of the cameras and then hold your breath and turn of the light at the same time. it just boring tbh. and the last one is that, it is unfair most of the times, i dint even beat the 12/20 mode of it because there are soo many of them at your screen at the same time that sometimes you die either because you are out of cameras or because too many of them are in your room. anyways that is my review but again i think this game is better than all of the games of the fnaf series ( expect with all of them combined because of the lore ) and the best fnaf fan game ever made.

I’m sure you may have heard of it, but… have you ever heard of Oblitus Casa? Because it’s a sequel to Treasure island and expands it even further. Abandoned by Disney still holds up as one of the best Creepypastas ever made. The story is a good slow burn, even if the final “scare” is a bit cliche (though the story may have helped create said cliche). I put it up there with Psychosis and BEN DROWNED (despite the cliches it spawned).
