Joel, you've inspired me. My kids have told me for years that I should narrate videos or read for books on tape. But I was always worried my light but noticeable southern accent would be a disadvantage to trying to get people to listen. Not that you have an accent. (In fact, your voice is pretty much perfect neutral Midwestern American, like newscasters strive for.) But I've decided to try it. And I have a small trove of short stories written by friends that nobody has heard yet, which I can record for my new effort. I hope people enjoy the end results.

I really love the new direction of these stories. It's like a mixture of realism, supernatural, and the fantastic. I usually listen to true stories and supernatural ones from different people, but this was a nice change if oace from joel.
