I think the best part about this movie is that The Rock had a hand in the production of the action scenes. To make it easier on the visual effects crew when removing the plant life and simulating the desert locale in the movie, Dwayne Johnson joined the crew in painting the plants blue. Which is why this movie was also known as Blue Harvest, which was the working title of the original Star Wars movie from 1977. Edit: Oh good, James did end up doing it.
