Fascinating info on the Scottish wild cat, I’ve never seen one in the wild or even a zoo, go wild cat. 🐾

Thanks as always for watching! I’ve been to a couple of zoos where they have had an enclosure for wildcats but I never seen them out and about!

We used to have wildcats in my area until the SSPCA neutered/euthanised many of them. My gran would always have wildcat kittens in her shed that she would feed, she was always covered in scratches and bites but she loved them dearly. Her neighbour reported them to the SSPCA one year who came and took them, along with any other reported wildcats until eventually they completely died out in my area. I rarely hear anyone talk about the reality that the SSPCA had a hand in the wildcat population decline
