Is there anyone else who sees this song in a different light? According to the video, it's about a guy writing this for his love but if we listen closely we'll be able to relate it with anything we're passionate about. This song always gives me positivity. What I infer from the title 'Man on a Wire' is that there is no other option than moving forward even if we fall it's alright but at least we tried. Thank you! The Script for this amazing song.

I went to see them in concert and Mark told the story behind the song and the concept of the video, how they are based on his fear of height. He said something about "how some people may seem crazy to be doing things they arent able to do when the fact is they're actually building a bridge to cross onto the other side and over their fears", which i think, is beautiful.

The best thing about The Script is how they really show the message of the song. I also realized that love isn't to be forced, it always comes at the right time. That's why I'm dedicating all the Script songs through my future girlfriend and eventually my wife in the long term. This band means the world to me, because once I was at the cinema with my sister and we both heard a soundtrack that we liked a lot, we searched for it and we discovered it was "hall of fame". I instantly fell in love with the song, then I started searching for the band (the script) and since that moment I officially became from the script family, I downloaded every single song, I bought all albums, I posted on twitter a picture of the album "no sound without silence" when i got it and I was lucky enough because the official the script gave me retweet and that was one of the happiest momments of my life, I had to travel to another city to go see them in concert and I can tell you that the best momment/day of my life was the concert. Its amazing the coincidence of going to see a movie and ending up having the best momments of my life. The script came to my life for a reason.

I rememeber when Man on a wire was first posted and how relevant it was to me. I was breaking up with a toxic boyfriend who always made it a point to make me feel bad for caring a lot. Funnily enough, I still remember how hard it was to let him go, and took many months to finally be free.
