The Search for “The Smile Train” (LOST MEDIA RPG Horror Game)

Heya folks! Thanks to your support, the Smile Train may(?) have been found! (in under two hours too like sheesh) So basically, as a lot of messages mentioned, Nui goes to Town is probably the Smile Train. In fact, upon watching the playthrough of it from Riskrim, I CAN confirm that Riskrim was who I mistook for CinnamonToastKen, and I can confirm that the ending WAS 100% the Smile Train ending. Though, the whole beginning just doesn't feel right. That and all the things I could have sworn were in the game (The Undertale-looking, drawn, dark figure, Creepypasta Quotes, a section where you walk on the train, a part where everyone calls you a crybaby) and I don't recall the graphics looking as they do HERE at all. Maybe there were two games with a similar concept, and my brain auto-corrected it into one? Or maybe someone plagiarized it at some point? I'm... not really sure if I'm honest. I know the brain can be pretty unreliable though. Let's go Riskrim!!! I think there's another game he played that has some similarities to what you wrote that your brain mixed with Nui - Train! It has a similar color scheme in characters that you drew, they get on the train at the beginning after talking for a bit and in the end they're able to escape a killer and go home.

I have a similar situation, albeit slightly different. There was this one show called Player Select that I used to watch all the time on Disney XD (A channel where shows go to die, and beloved dead shows stay). It was basically just Disney taking clips of games on the internet from different creators whilst not paying them. Seems like hell for Disney's lawyers. Anyways, I remembered liking this show as a kid, and wanted to watch some more. Turns out, Disney took it down from all their channels and streaming networks. Disney basically just made it disappear. The only remnants were the first season (called Polaris player select) and a few episodes others recorded. Same thing with another show with the same premise called Parker Plays. Just saying, I don't want anyone else to suffer, so I'll try to search for the smile train.

Something about this seems way too specific, guess it could be “Nui goes to town!” But I agree with you, it sounds too specific, I guess it could be like a dream story or something, I actually had one like that too haha. But it does sound too specific to the point where it feels like it could’ve been some forgotten, unknown, mystery game.

I currently am having a similar issue, there was this game where basically from what I remember there was a train between worlds and in one of the worlds there was a doctors office near the end of the game I’m pretty sure, but basically he gave you these happy pills and if you took them you od and you saw your character unalived in a dumpster, it was crazy, and I was way to young to play it at the time, but I kinda want to find it again to figure out if I was really the only one who remembers it or if some other people have played it too

I was like, a baby during the creepypasta era, so I don't remember that. I actually never knew this game existed until seeing this video, and since I'm getting into a fear phase, I might just check your mock-up out! Additionally, this video made me remember a dream I once had. It was about one of my favorite gaming KZbinrs (I don't actually remember which one it was) playing a game (that didn't exist) called "Koyuki." It was an RPG game about a girl collecting crystal shards, which made me REALLY want to try and create it, but I don't really know how to use RPGMaker, so I doubt I'll ever be able to. There's no real reason I wanted to share this other than your video gave me vivid flashbacks of the dream, and I'm aware my thing is barely relevant to the video.

I doubt it'll help, but some not as popular horror themed let's players I watched (and still do for some-) are Dlive, Entoan, RPGMinx... Dlive makes videos on a new channel, but the other two aren't as KZbin dedicated anymore if I remember correctly. I'll look through. This DOES sound familiar, but over ten years I rotted my brain with horror stuff so.... It's hard to say.

Yea if you look at the game jot page he shows you can see is profile this is along the lines of crow64, petscop, and the courage ps1 game. games that never existed but claimed to be "lost media" edit: so i just watched the video and that actualy might not be the case but still i could be idk
