Campbell inherited a team that went 3-12-1 and 5 -11 not 9-8x2. The lions were a bad team, not a team that went to the post season and was a tiebreaker away from the post season.

How can we expect Seattle's defense to perform, with the injuries and when Seattle's offense burries them early? The hawks offense, led by Geno, has put seattle in holes in the last 3 weeks, allowing the competition to run it down seattles depleted throat all game long. If Geno and the offense didn't suck, the opposing offenses would have to abandon the run, and it would drastically help out the defense. Even when Geno plays well, like Detorit, someone like DK will fumble it away. I just hate the product we are getting.

You're right, people aren't realizing that these 3 losses are because of horribly "sustained" drives by the offense. If we could stay on the damn field and score or at least eat up time for the D to rest, I'm positive we'd look way better on defense. No side of the ball is innocent, but the lack of a running attack and horrible choices regarding the turnovers is exactly why we are at .500. It's the offense that causes the D to get tired, and in turn has to play catchup all damn game.

@Iron_Hawk_12 you have restored my faith in the Fandom, haha! So many fans have been attacking me all day for daring to say a negative word about their lord and savior Geno Smith. Is Geno solely responsible? Absolutely not. However, no position in sports impacts a teams chances of winning or losing like a QB. When injuries happen, you need your QB to step up and play his best ball. Not take a major step back and regress. The biggest thing a team can do to overcome injuries is play complimentary football. That starts with the offense staying on the field, sustaining drives, scoring points, and most importantly, not turning the ball over. When the offense can't do any of those things, your defense doesn't stand a chance, especially if your defense is riddled with injuries like seattles has been the last several weeks.

@tommyjames2448 lmfao! Trust me dude, some of our "fans" are ridiculous. I like Geno, he's a solid QB! Can we expect him to be perfect all the time? No, that's unrealistic in general. But with the weapons we have on that side of the ball, there is no excuse to not be staying on the field and getting points. Everything you mentioned, I absolutely agree with! This league is dominated by offenses, and it will always start with it. Every loss we have rn is because of slow starts on that side of the ball, and I understand the OL isn't the best, but we made it work when we won 3 games and we made it work when we "came back" to make it competitive against Detroit, NY, and last night. I'm not ashamed to blame the offense on the downfall this season so far, because as you said and what I agree with, is that it starts with them! We need to get this darn running game going and stop the bad turnovers, we do that, watch us be in very winnable games (either with leads or game winning drives that are way more doable than what they've been the last 3 games).

Geno is a good QB we have the shittiest o line I’ve ever seen. If you’re a real hawks fan you have noticed that when geno has time in the pocket he plays like a top 10 qb. Another thing is that second pick where he targeted DK is 90% on DK. He starts shading upfield once geno throws him the ball when he should be running back towards geno so he doesn’t get undercut like he did. I think geno had a bad game, but let’s not act like we can’t get far in the playoffs with him

People were willing to forgive the Lions loss. It was a hard fought game and Seahawks were missing a lot of players on defense. But the last two weeks didn't feel that way. The early turnovers that put us down by two touchdowns before our offense can score even a field goal is a tremendous hole to put yourself in. Then it compounds because the defense just isn't that good and can have a homerun scored on them at any time.

I'm going to stay hopeful and say that this team has the talent to actually be a contender and I can see Seattle being a problem for teams in the coming years but at the end of the day we gotta play better. We need to run the ball more because we have too much talent at the running back position with K9 and Zach Charbonet. We need better pass blocking even though the pass blocking looked decent at times against San Fran in the 2nd half, defense has to play better and we need to stop turning the ball over
