I personally don’t understand the comment section where debate over when Christ coming happens. More specifically, because the point of John Piper sermon is about loving the truth in such a way that you will not be idle in your worship and day-to-day walk, and so that you won’t be deceived. All I know about the second coming is that it’s coming. And like Paul washer says, everyone’s eschatology will be cleared up on the day it happens. Whether it’s pre-or post or any other category, it’s going to happen. Those in Christ be encouraged and rest assured that are rest is coming. Those not in Christ, please turn from your sin, and believe the most beautiful message of the gospel where you can be forgiven, made new and inherit eternity.

Born of the water & Spirit of God is needed to enter into his kingdom. In John 3:3-7, this is a supernatural birth from above. And it was also fulfilled in Acts 2:38-39. On the day of Pentecost is when the church was born. Remember, the church is not a building. After the gospel, read the book of Acts. We must obey the gospel, Matthew. Mark. Luke & John. There are dire consequences if we don't obey the gospel, & do not know God & who will be punished w everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord. (2nd Thessalonians 1:7-9). We must all get our house in order. This is a crisis we are in w/ whatever is going on. May the Lord fill you w the Holy Ghost. I have a sincere question and hope you can provide a sincere answer. --------- Since the Bible teaches there are four (4) temporal "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth before the Lord Returns to establish the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven" why do you NOT teach this Biblical Truth? Why do you not preach what God has specifically NAMED in Scripture? --------- In Mat 22:2 God specifically NAMES the (2nd) Jewish "Kingdom of Heaven" In Mat 13 (many verses) God NAMES the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" In Mat 25:1-13 God NAMES the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" and God specifically NAMES the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven" in Matthew 5 and 7 and 8 and 19. ----------- The ONLY "Kingdom of Heaven" not specifically NAMED in Scripture is the (1st) Pre-Flood Kingdom which contained all the saints from Adam to Noah. ----------- Since the Scripture shows the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" is also shown as the 7-Headed Revelation Beast and as Daniel's Fourth Beast and as the RULE of the "Little Horn" (commonly called the Anti-Christ) and as Satan's "Little Season"... ------------ In other words, PEOPLE living in the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" are the SAME PEOPLE living during the Revelation Beast and the SAME PEOPLE living in Daniel's Fourth Beast and the SAME PEOPLE living during the reign of the "Anti-Christ" and the SAME PEOPLE living during Satan's "Little Season". -------------- And we know this ABSOLUTELY because (in each case) they are the PEOPLE living on earth when the Lord Returns to establish the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven" In each case they are the LAST generation of "wheat and tares" living on earth. ------------- In Matthew 25:1-13 they are called the "ten virgins". In Revelation 17 they are ALSO called the "ten Horns" and the "ten Kings". ------------- BTW... since Daniel 7:11-12 shows these PEOPLE are "given to the Burning Flame" and that is the SAME EVENT as Revelation 19:20 when the Revelation Beast is "cast into the Lake-of-Fire" we can know ABSOLUTELY that the false doctrine that Daniel's Four Beasts (ultimately) represent physical/political nations cannot stand because NOBODY preaches that the previous "Beasts/Kingdom" continue to have their "lives prolonged for a Season and Time" [Dan 7:11-12] AFTER the PEOPLE living in the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" are cast into the Lake-of-Fire. Therefore, Daniel's Beasts/Kingdoms MUST (ultimately) only represent spiritual Kingdoms. Which (of course) harmonizes with the four (4) temporal "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth before the Lord Returns to establish the Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven". --------------- This is ignoring the fact that God PROMISED the truth about Daniel's prophecies would remain "closed-up" and "sealed" (to all the saints) until the "time-of-the-end", also shown as the "Season and Time" after the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" has been destroyed. [Dan 7:11-12] So we know ABSOLUTELY that all "interpretations" on Daniel's Beasts being physical/political Kingdoms are immediately proven false because those interpretations were developed while the truth remained "sealed". ------------- Given this "harmony of Scripture" and the reality that God has specifically NAMED four (of the five) "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth... my sincere question to you is WHY are you not currently preaching all of these Biblical Truths? ---------------

I strongly believe Richard Dawkins is the man of lawlessness/ son of perdition, for he exalts himself above every god and religion. He fell away and rebelled when at 15 he turned away from following Christ. He promotes all delusions such as evolution and the book The God Delusion and most recently Outgrowing God. So the end is so close and Christ Jesus can return at any time. The rain is about to fall so to speak as in times of Noah.

I love this message. From my long experience, almost all teachers teach a certain passage with a certain eschatology in mind and they try to make the passage fit into that view. Here, Piper teaches the text simply for what it says without trying to force-fit it into any particular point of view.

Writing in about 110 AD, Josephus recorded, in great detail, Jewish history, 1st century Judaism, the ministry of YAHshua. 3. In a book called, "Wars of the Jews", Josephus describes the destruction of Jerusalem as YAHshua prophesied in Matthew 24. 4. Initially most people who believe in the Rapture have such a poor knowledge of the bible, the first time they learn this historical fact, is when they read it here on our Rapture Refuted website! How sad that John Piper does not realize the "revealing" of the Man of Sin is the SAME EVENT as seeing the "Abomination of Desolation" [Mat 24:15]. ----------- John Piper does not realize WHEN these things occur. He assumes the revealing of the Man of Sin (and seeing Daniel's Abomination) occur at the END of the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" [Mat 13:11,24,31,33,44,47,52] But that is a mistake. ------------- The revealing of the Man of Sin and the saints seeing Daniel's Abomination and the rule of the Anti-Christ during the Great Tribulation of Satan's "Little Season" all occur AFTER the end of the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" and during the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" (also shown as Daniels 4th Beast) -------------- Mat 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. --------------- John Piper knows the revealing of the Man of Sin (and return of the Lord) occurs at the END of the age... but what he does not realize is that it occurs at the END of the FOURTH "Kingdom of Heaven" and not the THIRD Kingdom. --------------- The Bible is very clear that there are four (4) temporal "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth before the Lord Returns to establish the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom"... John Piper knows the Man of Sin is revealed at the END of the age, but he ASSUMES it is the end of the Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" instead of [Mat 25:1] the Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven". --------------- If John Piper knew more he would realize the man called the "Little Horn" in Daniel's FOURTH Beast is the same as the Man of Sin in 2nd Thess. And this "Anti-Christ", who does not rise until the FOURTH Beast [Dan 7:8] ruling over the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" [Mat 25:1 above] is the same event as the Abomination of Desolation that is "placed" or "set-up" during Daniel's Fourth Beast. [Dan 11:31 and 12:11] ----------- Basically, John Piper (and all who are reading this comment) fail to understand that AFTER the end of the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" Satan is loosened from the Bottomless Pit and rules (thru his Anti-Christ) during the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven". -------------- In other words... You need God's approval.God has a plan,His plan,not yours.You need to fing His plan,not your fire burning desire. Be sure not to engage in a ministry God never called you to do. I'm just saying that because there was a pastor Kenneth Hagin,baptised in the Holy Spirit with a great ministry and after 12-16 years(can't remember) the Lord told him He never called him to that ministry,it was his desire,but not God's perfect plan for his life.Obviously he was shocked,but he explained that God has a plan and if we don't seek for His approval or His will,then we end up doing something agains God's plan.

@@karentmp9168 Interesting thoughts, we should always seek the lords will. The problem is that you are assuming God will not will someone to start a ministry. A ministry is an organisation dedicated to the spread of the gospel. You will be hard pressed to make a case that God really told that man anything since he got it wrong the first time (according to himself) I would suggest rather it was his sinful self that told him never to have started the ministry. Can you imagine people who would not have been saved if he never started a ministry to spread the gospel for 12 years+ ? Read the great commision carefully we are all ministers of the gospel.

@@gavin_hill I know that,I thought about all the people who got saved and discovered their own plan during his ministry as well. Yes,we are all called to spread the gospel. But God has a specific plan and will for each one of us. I know very well from my fellowship that there wes a couple really enthusiastic to go and pioneer a church.The pastor,as I remember,prayed for them and had a prophecy that it was not God's will and not God's plan.But they refused to believe that and went to pioneer.After months or even one year they realised they were not called for that specific ministry,and even though they had the will and disipline,they realized it was all their selfish desire(for a good purpose). Now,I didn't tell you not to do it,just that you should always seek for God's will for your life,especially when it comes to starting your own ministry. Now,this pastor Kenneth(who is well known as one of the most respected men of God of the 20th century) began everything by his own will,and obviously God used him and his ministry so save other souls.But it was only when he entered into the presence of God,and Jesus told him from now you will enter into the first phase of the ministry I have for you.

I believe he's biblically sound on 90% of what he says - about as good as anyone out there. The items I disagree on are secondary, non- salvational issues, which I or the Pastor could be right or wrong about, and it would not make much of a difference. Point is, were all unlikely to agree with any pastor 100% of the time - if you find one who is at 90% or even 80%, you know you've got one you should listen to

I was a pretrib all my life but a few years ago, I decided to go look for this myself in the Bible and to my absolute bewilderment I couldn’t find it to sustain itself under scrutiny. So far my understanding is that Christ’s second coming happens at the opening of the 6th seal and before the opening of the 7th. I think thats a midtrib approach. Whatever it is I love the Lord and His truth. If its a pretrib, a midtrib or posttrib the Lord will sustain and carry us to the end.

Same discovery upon self study. At the sixth seal, simultaneous with the 7th trumpet blowing, which is Jesus returning, is the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and rapture of the still living (that's the mystery of God in the verse below - the New Covenant Church, indwelled with His Spirit). This is the last day and end of the world (it's the end of time, so there is no 1000 years of an old earth millennial kingdom, the kingdom is now (Matt 12:28) - Amillennial). Next is the wrath of God being instantly poured out on earth, followed by the resurrection of the rest of the dead (Rev 20:5), and the judgment of all the dead, just and unjust, either from God's one book of life He wrote, or each individual's "book" they lived without God (Rev 20:12), and the beginning of the eternal Kingdom that has come finally literally. As in the days of Noah and Lot, God rescues His people and destroys the wicked on the very same day. (Luke 17:27, 29) Revelation 10:6-7 KJV And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that *_there should be time no longer:_* [7] But *_in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished,_* as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 1:9 KJV I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, *_and in the kingdom_* and patience *_of Jesus Christ,_* was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I have recently come to understand - based on studies and studying - that the seven bowls and the 7 trumpets sound very much alike and could be one and the same as well. I always thought of all this happening in quick succession but not at the same time (which makes it all sound a thousand times more terrifying than I could possibly imagine).

@@katyekel Revelation not my strong point. I've come to believe it's been unfolding since written (John wrote - these things must shortly come to pass). For sure, He's coming on the last day of the world for His Church (John 6:39-40,44,54), and the tares are taken away first, while the wheat is left shining in the Kingdom like the sun. God bless! 2 Thes. 2 teaches that the second coming and the rapture occur before the man of lawlessness is revealed. The Wrath of God and the Great Tribulation are not the same thing though I believe that both occur within Daniel’s 70th week. People use verses that say that believers will not suffer God’s wrath to prove that believers will not suffer tribulation. Matthew 24 parallels the first 6 seals in Revelation 6 in content and in order but not always the same level of detail. Matthew 24:7-8 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” This is the same as the first 4 seals in Revelation 6:1-8. Matthew 24:9 says “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” This closely reflects the fifth seal in Revelation 6:9. Matthew 24:29 says “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” This is same as the 6th seal in Revelation 6:12-13. Joel says that this event occurs before the Day of the Lord. Joel 2:31 “The sun shall be turned into darkness,And the moon into blood,Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

In fact, hardly anyone in all of Christian history before 1830 believed in a pre-trib rapture. Darby and Schofield made this teaching popular in the 1830s and this became the predominant belief in America around 100 years ago. Prior to 1830, almost every Christian believed in what you now believe (called Historical Premillenialism...the rapture is after the great tribulation, when Jesus returns), or believed in what is called amillenienism. There are other beliefs too but they were never widely held.

In light of the Biblical warnings of the coming deception i think it is important to keep in mind that G-D does not depend on us for His glory and human pleasure is not portrayed in the Bible as the sole way G-D is glorified. Nature, miracles/events can and does bring glory to G-D. Seeking "happiness" should not be our primary goal. We should guard against this especially at this time. If earthly hedonism is chasing after external sensory pleasures then too easily Christians (especially considering we are about to experience deception en masse) can be deceived into also chasing after "godly" extra-sensory pleasures (which technology/AI can easily and readily supply) which in turn promotes a preoccupation with/ indulgence of the self. I will stick with the Word on what we ought to do to please GOD. By implication it will be best for us to do so and will ensure peace and joy reigns in us: Mark 12:30 says, “And you shall love the Lord your GOD from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength.”

Those would be some disappointed children of God if we were still waiting since Paul told them that God would repay those who are afflicting them and that they would get relief at the Lords coming. John Piper knows the Man of Sin is revealed at the END of the age, but he ASSUMES it is the end of the Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" instead of [Mat 25:1] the Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven". --------------- If John Piper knew more he would realize the man called the "Little Horn" in Daniel's FOURTH Beast is the same as the Man of Sin in 2nd Thess. And this "Anti-Christ", who does not rise until the FOURTH Beast [Dan 7:8] ruling over the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" [Mat 25:1 above] is the same event as the Abomination of Desolation that is "placed" or "set-up" during Daniel's Fourth Beast. [Dan 11:31 and 12:11] ----------- Basically, John Piper (and all who are reading this comment) fail to understand that AFTER the end of the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" Satan is loosened from the Bottomless Pit and rules (thru his Anti-Christ) during the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven". -------------- In other words... Read Matthew 24:37-44, and this is not describing the event in the same chapter verse 9-28. The first is describes Jesus visible return after the Tribulation. The second passage describes the Rapture, which clearly says it will happen during the wheat harvest, two men in the field, two women at the mill grinding grain. Wheat harvest is in the spring to summer. We can know the season!

@@George-ur8ow True Christians desire to obey God but they also know that they are forgiven when they sin. Jesus said 3 times in John 14 "If you love Me, you will obey my commands." True love for Christ will produce good works. Good works are not what earns salvation: good works are the result of salvation. That's the difference. Anyone who teaches that we must do good works to earn God's favor is saying the opposite of what the Bible says. We do good works as a result of the love we have for Christ. See Eph 2:8-10 and notice where works come in: after salvation, and not to earn it. All of this is what Piper and Washer both teach. I hope that helps!

Just as the Jewish people were (and are) confused about the two comings of the Messiah - first to suffer and give His life for the sins of the world and second to reign as the Prince of peace, and both these comings are separated by a period of time - could it be that many Christians are also confused that the return of Jesus for His Bride will also be two comings? The first coming will be in the clouds to receive those who have received Him by grace through faith; and then the second coming will be on earth to rescue Israel and reign physically on earth-both comings also separated by a period of time. No! We are only ever saved through faith alone by God's grace, never by ethnic race. This belief that the ethnic people of the old testament will believe and be saved because they SEE Christ at his coming is so a-biblical it blows my mind. What did Christ say when they asked for a visible sign, so that they could then believe? No sign but the sign of Noah. And only those people of the old testament that have rejected Christ their whole lives, that are then lucky enough to be alive at that specific time - at the return of Christ will be saved because they are fortunate enough to be alive at that time to see him? What if one passes away the day before? Tough luck, you are of the right ethnic race, but apparently you did not get the chance to see Christ so you could then believe and be eternally saved. This heresy undermines the very heart of belief in Jesus Christ. Hear my people, we are saved by faith, and "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN" . This 'dual covenant' multiple dispensation/multiple ways to be saved theology did not gain any mainstream acceptance until the early-mid 20th century, and then, only in portions of American Protestanism after the promotion of the Scofield bible. It breaks my heart.

You need to understand all the scriptures about eschatology to come to the right conclusion by yourself. There is only ONE RETURN by JESUS. Read 1Thes.4:14-18 and don't stop there but continue to chapter 5 verse 9. In the original letter there were no chapters and verses. The COMING of JESUS is on the same Day as the DAY of the LORD. Read 2Thes.1:7-10 slowly and attentively. The DAY of WRATH upon the wicked happens on the same DAY of GLORY for the Saints. I am not twisting any scriptures here. We may get to see the TRUTH when our eyes are opened.

Good to quote 1 Thess 4, but did you continue reading to 1 Thess 5? Chap 5 begins with a conjunction "But" - it's continuing what was written in chapter 4 and tells us the timing of the rapture - it is the same day as the day of the Lord: 1 Thess. 5 - "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. No Scripture in context actually teaches a pre-trib rapture. Look carefully for it, you won't find it. Let the text speak for itself.

Really? This whole chapter proves the pre trib rapture. John piper doesn’t understand what this passage really says. It says the the Thessalonians were afraid of the day of Christ. Why would they be afraid of the rapture being at hand if Paul said it's a comfort In 1 Thessalonians 4:18 and Titus 2:13? Because the day of Christ in verse 2-3 is referring to armageddon as Jesus comes back in Judgement. It’s not talking about our rapture. To know Jesus is coming to take you to heaven while being alive at the rapture before the tribulation and judgement that he releases is the biggest comfort anyone can ever get. It's not something that will trouble you. Paul's whole point in verse one is that in light of the rapture, we must not be shaken or troubled that the tribulation and second coming of Jesus in judgement is at hand This tribulation period and deception of the antichrist is for those who rejected the truth. (2 thess 2:9-12) THEY will suffer the antichrist because THEY received not the Love of the truth. The whole reason why the antichrist comes on the scene and deceives the world is the wrath of God on a world that rejected his truth. God sent his son to save the world but the wicked world rejected him, so God will allow and send the antichrist to deceive the world as a consequence and a tool for his wrath because the world rejected God's truth. Paul only mentions unbelievers in the tribulation in this passage. He never hinted we would see it because it’s meant for unbelievers. Piper didn’t read the whole chapter. He left out verses 13-17 which say we won’t be seeing any of the tribulation or antichrist because we believed the truth. 2 thess 2:13-17 says: BUT WE are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning CHOSEN YOU TO SALVATION through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the OBTAINING THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work." Here Paul says that God chose us for salvation. We won't be seeing any of the antichrist or tribulation because we did have belief of the truth and because that time is for unbelievers. He even mentioned that God chose to save us from it and called us to obtain the glory of Jesus. ( to receive our glorified bodies) and that happens in the rapture! He never mentions the Thessalonians in the tribulation. Why? Because the church is NOT going to be here. How do i know the salvation in verses 13-14 is referring to the rapture? Because the immediate context tells me. It’s talking about a time where the antichrist will rise and deceive the world but God chose us to save us from it. And he even mentions that the restrainer must leave first before the antichrist is revealed. V 6-7 ( Holy spirit dwelling in church) the church restrains evil because we have the HS in us. Don’t you know Jesus gave us power and authority over all evil spirits? The one in us is greater than the antichrist. 1 john 4:3-4. We must leave before because the body of Christ can overcome the antichrist with the power of the Holy Spirit! Paul is making a contrast between two groups in this passage. One group was left to suffer the tribulation and antichrist for not believing the truth. ( unbelievers. 2 Thess 2:9-12) And the other, (which is us) That God chose to save from it and to obtain the glory of Jesus for believing the truth. (The church. 2 thess 13-17) This sole chapter proves the church won’t be here for the antichrist and yet people misunderstand it 🤦🏼‍♂️

@@KZbinChannel-vd6xn The problem, IMHO, is in bringing the idea of a pretrib rapture to the passages. This idea is then superimposed over the passages to make them seem to support it. This is seen in what you wrote. Actually, it's a fairly new idea in the church, becoming popular only in the last 180 years or so. Now, Jesus said he will return after the tribulation. Right? Okay, you have to prove to me that Paul was speaking of a different "coming" than the one our Lord spoke of in Matt. 24, Right? Paul even calls it his "coming" in 1 Thess. 4:15. Yet we are supposed to believe Paul had a different "coming" in mind? Really? I don't think so. Don't you think Paul would have made that clearer? Paul never says he comes before the tribulation, so it's an idea foreign to the passages, but brought to them. This is called eisegesis. For example, the wrath we are spared from Paul describes in 1 Thess. 5:1-3. Hope that helps. Anyway, I appreciate you friend and I know you have zeal for the Lord. Keep serving our Lord. The 2nd Coming is at the end of the Tribulation..... the Rapture is at the door, but it is a secret event and will be so quick that no one left here will know what happened. bigbruno56 I don’t know either. There is no verse that specifically says that we will be raptured secretly or even says plainly that there is a rapture before the tribulation. If you have found such verse, please give it to me. Even John MacArthur has admitted that you have to read in between the lines to get to the pre trib conclusion. This is not a primary doctrine to separate over unless a person is denying that these events are future and that Christ is not going to return. Now that’s a problem!

bigbruno56 no confusion here - I’m just pointing out that my heart is ready for anything - if there is no rapture before the tribulation I’m ready to depend on God for strength to endure the tribulation - there are too many good arguments these days supporting all these discussions and I don’t have months of time to devote to this subject right now: so rather worry I decided to just enjoy the day and work on other subjects such as mastering hunger, self-denial, sleep and sexual desire which takes up a lot time- but also study Michael Brown, Perry Stone, Erwin Baxter, and Chuck Misslers 2 hour study on this rapture and yes John McArthur has great views as well - it a big subject with many verses and arguing points one needs to really get to know to form an comprehensive opinion and the Matthew 24 discussion can present some clarity challenges such as when will the trumpet be blown and other points: so finally, it doesn’t matter to me what happens or if I have a well developed opinion just a basic grasp because all that matters is that my heart loves Jesus right now and that I’m becoming more like Him throughout the day-it is the same with the eternal security discussion - eyes to the sky, he’s up there

He was removed within their lifetime. He had to be removed before the man of lawlessness (probably nero as many church fathers had said) was revealed as Paul told them this had to happen before Christ came to relieve them of their persecution and repay with retribution against those persecuting them. Whoever it was The thesselonians knew who the restrainer presently was and soon to know who was being restrained. But, as any good student of scripture, one must follow the pronouns, follow the audience relevancy, follow the historical context, then MAYBE one could come to a solid conclusion on who this restrainer was. 2 Thess 1-2:12 (follow the pronouns, follow the audience relevancy, put yourself in that first century and imagine you are recieving this letter from Paul during immense persecution) Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians (to who? The thesselonians) in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because >your faith< grows exceedingly (whos faith was growing? The thesselonians), and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith >in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure< (who’s enduring this persecution/tribulation? Is Paul writing really writing a letter to them, while they are going through massive persecution, to promise retribution for this persecution to a people 2,000+ years down the road? Are those thesselonians still alive and awaiting this relief and retribution? That passage in 2 Thessalonians 2 refers to the end of government. For Jesus must reign until he has defeated all of his enemies. All Power, Dominion, and Authority. Then the last enemy to be destroyed is death itself. Then he will return the kingdom back to the Father that God may be All in All.

I fear many brothers and sisters hold to amil and postmil positions not because it is the conscience's prayerful conviction of Scripture's meaning, but because they lack the faith and patience to make peace with the idea of 2,000 years being "soon." We are coming in from the highways and hedges, from the highways filling the hall. Mt 22:1-14, Lk 14:23-24. Why do you not preach what God has specifically NAMED in Scripture? --------- In Mat 22:2 God specifically NAMES the (2nd) Jewish "Kingdom of Heaven" In Mat 13 (many verses) God NAMES the (3rd) Christian "Kingdom of Heaven" In Mat 25:1-13 God NAMES the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" and God specifically NAMES the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven" in Matthew 5 and 7 and 8 and 19. ----------- The ONLY "Kingdom of Heaven" not specifically NAMED in Scripture is the (1st) Pre-Flood Kingdom which contained all the saints from Adam to Noah. ----------- Since the Scripture shows the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" is also shown as the 7-Headed Revelation Beast and as Daniel's Fourth Beast and as the RULE of the "Little Horn" (commonly called the Anti-Christ) and as Satan's "Little Season"... ------------ In other words, PEOPLE living in the (4th) Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" are the SAME PEOPLE living during the Revelation Beast and the SAME PEOPLE living in Daniel's Fourth Beast and the SAME PEOPLE living during the reign of the "Anti-Christ" and the SAME PEOPLE living during Satan's "Little Season". -------------- And we know this ABSOLUTELY because (in each case) they are the PEOPLE living on earth when the Lord Returns to establish the (5th) Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven" In each case they are the LAST generation of "wheat and tares" living on earth. ------------- In Matthew 25:1-13 they are called the "ten virgins". In Revelation 17 they are ALSO called the "ten Horns" and the "ten Kings". ------------- BTW... since Daniel 7:11-12 shows these PEOPLE are "given to the Burning Flame" and that is the SAME EVENT as Revelation 19:20 when the Revelation Beast is "cast into the Lake-of-Fire" we can know ABSOLUTELY that the false doctrine that Daniel's Four Beasts (ultimately) represent physical/political nations cannot stand because NOBODY preaches that the previous "Beasts/Kingdom" continue to have their "lives prolonged for a Season and Time" [Dan 7:11-12] AFTER the PEOPLE living in the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" are cast into the Lake-of-Fire. Therefore, Daniel's Beasts/Kingdoms MUST (ultimately) only represent spiritual Kingdoms. Which (of course) harmonizes with the four (4) temporal "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth before the Lord Returns to establish the Eternal "Kingdom of Heaven". --------------- This is ignoring the fact that God PROMISED the truth about Daniel's prophecies would remain "closed-up" and "sealed" (to all the saints) until the "time-of-the-end", also shown as the "Season and Time" after the Fourth "Kingdom of Heaven" has been destroyed. [Dan 7:11-12] So we know ABSOLUTELY that all "interpretations" on Daniel's Beasts being physical/political Kingdoms are immediately proven false because those interpretations were developed while the truth remained "sealed". ------------- Given this "harmony of Scripture" and the reality that God has specifically NAMED four (of the five) "Kingdoms of Heaven" on earth... my sincere question to you is WHY are you not currently preaching all of these Biblical Truths? ---------------

I appreciate fully as I watched the you-tube video on "The Second Coming: 'The Man of Lawlessness".As I watched it I could tell you have a true ministry for those within your audience. I sensed your nearness to tears several times throughout the sermon. It gave me hope that God is not through with America's ministry yet. I was becoming increasingly earnest and desiring to get into the pulpit. I was called into the ministry, but at the time of the calling-(1977)- I did not feel like full-Pastoral work is where the Lord wants me. I have a work history in mental health- primarily substance abuse-family dynamics. I have developed a "Dynamics of the Dysfunctional Family" format that will help explain how the individuals in the substance abusing family become "enwrapped" in a dysfunctional system. Once the system has been established, the individuals need a substance abuser in their relationship-system in order to have a "normal" life- or one that he/she can survive. Life for the co- dependent without a user, or another co-dependent, at least, is irrational for those individuals.

Apostle Paul continued, "This secret power of lawlessness is already at work during these times but someone is hindering its exposé and he will remain secret until the one who is keeping him from being revealed is taken out of the way." Satan, the Dark Power is hiding this power of wickedness, his tool for deception, so that he can effectively deceive the world and can lead the people to follow his evil teachings, and to facilitate his reign over them and over the saints. But after his appointed day ends, the Lord will come down, seize him, bound him, and will throw him in prison. If that happened already... "Then the wicked one will be exposed whom the Lord will slain by the word of truth and destroy by the brightness of his Day." And that Day will be a thousand bright years, the end times of the world to face God's judgments, mercy, and salvation. But before that Day, Apostle Paul explained the Day of the Wicked One. He will perform counterfeit miracles using the power of Satan to deceive those who are perishing. They perish because they rejected the truth that should have saved them, but instead, they chose and delighted in wickedness. This is why God will send this powerful spirit of delusion over them so that they will continue to believe the lie and be condemned.
