I know this country is headed for the heavy hand of God’s judgment as we have never experienced before. I would encourage everyone to take the time to take copious notes on these sermons, notebook upon notebook, so that when the ease of watching these sermons online is not available, you will still be able to use your notes to guide you through the Truth of God’s precious Word. Churches are crumbling, objective Truth is being denied, people are falling away. Hold fast to God’s word and be confident in the promises of God. He will not fail us.

2Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise...not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Most don't; God's will is NOT being done. John 7:17 says, "Anyone who CHOOSES to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God..." Joshua 24:15 says, "...CHOOSE for yourselves this day whom you will serve..." Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free (you can CHOOSE) to eat from any tree in the garden..." Deuteronomy 30:19-20 says, "...I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now CHOOSE life..." There are MANY more verses where we are offered a choice. God says I have put before you life and death, CHOOSE life. So while God does predestine some things, in other things we are given a choice. It's like a University predestines they are going to have a football team next season, but it is up to the free will who will decide to try out for the team.

Hello Greg, It is a little risky to say "perfect", but I think I know just what you mean. I would suppose that some little thing somewhere must somehow be somewhat imperfect because he's not God, but I tell ya, he is so Spirit led and so careful that as far as I have ever seen in many years this preacher/teacher is in sync with God's word and I have yet to see the littlest problem, I am always learning important things through him and he carefully shows the proper supports from the scripture. The point he makes at 44:00.... He tries to interpolate two ways to interpret that text, but changes the text, not just the use of the word "for." He tries to contrast two supposedly different theologies, saying their differences are drastically and vitally different. What my own experience with faith has shown is that if you are in Christ Jesus, you ARE holy because those who abide in Him obey him, and those who obey him are made whole in Him. Therefore, both "drastically different" theologies are actually the same thing, but we try to cut it up with our cunning. If we are in Christ, we are holy. If we are holy, we are in Christ. Either you see how Christ holds everything together or you are deceived.

I see there's a problem where you are looking at the law of sin as the sin itself at work in man. It is rather the law that *regulates* the sin in man; an outward regulation which *cannot* and will not regulate sin within, but can only condemn the flesh itself. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ regulates from within, condemning sin from within and thus bringing life.

I’ll try to help clear up any confusion. Piper was correct, ‘being spiritually righteous is more important than worldly policy and rights/freedoms’. Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Piper is pointing out how much emphasis and effort “Christian’s” put into fighting worldly battles, when the battle is more effective and more important on the spiritual level.

What I mean is that I unfortunately know a lot of people who have been in the faith as long as you, but they do not rightly divide the Word. That being said, as I thought more about what you wrote, I knew there was something that wasn't quite sitting right with me on how some of the teachers like Piper were describing sanctification. It kept nagging at me until it came to me to look up synergistic versus monergistic SANCTIFICATION not SALVATION. I figured out why I was having trouble with what Piper and those like him are saying. I don't know if I would call him a false teacher. I'm mulling on that, but I get your point, and thank you for the dialogue. It's been extremely helpful as I have used the past 6 weeks to detox from toxic teachings. Blessings to you.
