This is going to be dinner tomorrow night, only I am not going to mash mine. If they taste as good as they look, I will be making them for the family Thanksgiving dinner. Lol!! I remember having to use a knife growing up and how my dad would always say I'm cutting too much of the potato off LOL! Trying to peel a thin layer and not cut into the potato too much honey is a skill! 😂

Yes it can. Your potatoes might be a little mushy though since they would have to sit directly in the water. You still have to add the liquid.

Not sure if this applies to anyone else but the first time i made mashed sweet potatoes I used a hand mixer to which it does make it lumpy (😢unfortunately) but it does wind up the stringy hair like fibers in sweet potatoes
