I’ve been doing these for about a year now and my shoulders have never felt better. My overhead press is very strong now as well.

This helped my shoulder after spraining my AC joint. I do this before every chest and shoulder day now, along with the Lock 3 exercises. Huge difference in performance and feel.

Thanks. I needed this so much. My shoulder makes a popping sound when I do lateral raises and it hurts too. If you got anything for that please lemme know. Thanks a ton. 😊

I love to do a dropset on these, starting with 15lbs and all the way down to 2lbs. By the time I get to 2lbs the isolation on the infraspinatus feels amazing

I've been religiously performing this exercise before every push day and I've never ever had a rotator cuff injury recur ever since. It's as good as bulletproofing.

But if you only use a dumbbell you miss the best part of the exercise. You need a cable or a band to get resistance at the top range of motion
@shvettyballs704519 күн бұрын
I was thinking something like that too

When the muscle is most contracted? Please explain why. Thanks.
@Eirikkinserdal18 күн бұрын
That's the thing. Once the dumbell is straight up, there is zero resistance and zero contraction, the cable will have the same resitance all the way

I have a question for you! How come every video I see that talks about the rotator cuff, which is comprised of four muscles, always strips off all other muscles but the infraspinatus? Is it because this is the muscle that is least targeted in workouts and needs the most attention out of all the rotator cuff muscles
@drew540918 күн бұрын
Is doing this while standing and with a band good to? It's what I do.

Yeah thinking this is going to tire my shoulder put before I even get to my workouts with that many steps and that long of a rep
@viancabear18 күн бұрын
@simpbeforeusleep if that's the case it sounds like you really need this warm up. It only takes about 5 min and really helps the lifts feel much more stable which helps translate the forces much better leading to stronger lifts.
