I started dating a Mormon girl when I was in high school. I was going to have to convert for it to continue, of course. I had the first two meetings with the “elders”, but backed out on the third and final one. For as short-sighted as I was back then, I have to give myself credit for not completely jumping onto that wagon. I could never live a life with that many restrictions and be happy. The LDS community is full of really nice people and all, but I’m definitely not cut from that cloth.
