@ferrisbueller99914 ай бұрын
They wouldn’t fly over if they could buy the western woman, their price is just way higher than the Easterns because they have far more options. Everyone in the West borders on materialistic. I don't know if persuading eastern women to sleep with them for money is necessarily materialistic if they aren’t just banging prostitutes... they could do that at home. They are sad and finding love the only way they can figure out, I think trading all your stuff and cash just for a wife who loves you is very far from materialistic. Not saying that is what they all are. Eastern women and men are seemingly less materialistic than Americans. So Eastern women are less materialistic than western women and that is obviously desirable. It isn’t as if they wouldn’t give up all their shit for a western girl... it is that the price is outside their budget. And lets not pretend ugly rich men don't have a plethora of starlets who put themselves on the markey. Sugar daddies are more common than sugar mommies. I think the relationship between genders right now in the US is pretty bad, like way worse than 10 years ago, You can see the sickness in the rise of all the Red Pill stuff which is a reaction to the very viral Radical Feminism stuff, misandry is trendy. Hence guys saying they hate guys to get girls. Girls with internalize misogyny do the same and they are what we call "Not like the other girls." The men who say a Bear is wayyy less scary than a man to find in the woods is also being a pick me. No dude thinks another random dude is scarier than a random bear. Some women sadly think the random dude is scarier, which for some is a valid feeling because of past trauma. But the majority of woman say "give me the bear" to signal to men how just how bad they are. If a woman is getting chased on the street she's gonna look for the biggest dude in the crowd to hide behind, tis his duty to defend just as it is his nature to predate.

There's a difference between "I want designer bags, 20 shoes, tons of makeup and useless jewelry" versus "I just want a provider for a family" but ultimately no matter where you go the hardware and software are the same, they want money. The whole less developed countries portion was a little off putting considering cities in those countries are nicer than most of America. Esp given how much of a dump USA has become the past 2, maybe 3 decades.

I think it's definitely harder to get into a relationship now and it keeps getting harder, purely because people don't settle for anything nowadays, nor are they afraid of leaving. There's tons of statistics showing the results of this and it even plays a hand in the amount of kids a family has. Nevertheless it still falls on you as a general person to put in some work in order to find someone, it doesn't magically happen. You'll probably run into double the failure your parents did when they were young but you have to try before your time's up, it's just that now things are incredibly competitive thanks to the internet, people being free to do anything they want and the lowering fear of being left out if you abandon a previous relationship or not go for the immediate easy solution. Whoever reads this, we're going through the shit together as a collective, it's not just you vs the world, remember that.

Those relationships turn out to be this weird father daughter sexual vibe where the man pays for her and her family and she “takes care of him and his needs.” The age gap is insane. General rule of thumb, marry someone who is around your same maturity level and age. Otherwise it gets very weird and inappropriate.

A lot of people struggle to make connections after high school and college, and unfortunately end up using prejudice to explain and cope with their situation. The unfortunate truth is that we’re extremely socially alienated today and community is often non existent. It’s not just that finding romantic partners is harder, but even just having more than a handful of friends is rarer, among not just men, but women and everything in between. Even if you’re not a total creep, it’s hard to find someone you connect with when you may only be friends with 5 or fewer people irl, and the only other place you can meet new people is your job which comes with its own set of problems and circumstances.

I'm only married because I ran into a coworker from long ago while at a restaurant with my dad, and we started dating. I tried the whole dating app thing but it sucks. I feel like these men expect traditional roles from women but give nothing back or refuse to work longer hours or get a better job, it’s like they’d rather just have a servant than a traditional wife.

The whole "50s traditional wife" was literally created by the advertisment companies. I dont think it ever truly existed. I am pretty sure in most truly traditional societies women also worked and had a say in how household is run, there never were just glorified domestic servants.
@warbossgegguz6794 ай бұрын
No, advertisements are a reflection of society even if exaggerated. Women were more involved in their husbands lives and external matter than is typically depicted, but it was a thing. It's controversial to say stereotypes exist for a reason because that comes with a lot of good and a lot of bad connotations, but it's sort of the open secret of advertising and demographics. Even now, the way ads target their given demos has hardly changed tbh. They adjust what they need to to silence critics, but the core themes are still the same because THEY WORK. Same reason why in the booktok video every story sounds like the most cookie cutter generic romance story ever, but sells like complete hotcakes and women adore it... but if you point out that it's living up to stereotypes that's evil.

Specifically radical faminists have been uttering the most delusional stuff in magazines like "do we still need fathers?!" and, understandably, social media ruined boundries and expectations for the both sides. And I will be first to admit the novelty DID get to me too! I appreciate the culture far better here than within my home town (at the very least).
