I need to watch my words and show redemptive love more often ❤️

Watched this video a few years ago. Followed that advice. I watched my wife grow further away from me and treat me even worse while treating her friend the way God tells us treat their spouses. To this day her friend gets all my wife's love while I get lists of things she wants done. I don't get that list done..... I get disappointed management review of everything I did wrong. But I'm the bad guy if I file for divorce. How messed up is that.

I know that in my marriage that the ONLY thing that has worked is when I have redemptively loved my husband! Anytime I've done something else it's just caused more pain on both sides, and things were MUCH more miserable! I'll tell you that it's NOT the easiest thing to actually do, but the results can't be denied!!! It allows God to work on their heart because you're not reacting to them in the same negative way that they are behaving, & it teaches you how to crucify your own flesh and to pick up your cross and follow Jesus by being a living example of Christ! Tit for tat NEVER works, & it never will!!! Believe me that it'll do a LOT more damage & it will DEFINITELY hurt more than being the stronger person and redemptively loving your spouse to begin with!!! It is SO EXTREMELY worth it to redemptively love your spouse!!! It will literally save your marriage!!! It doesn't work right away all the time so stay strong and be patient. When they start coming back around let them into your heart, and be careful & intentional about letting them back in even after they have hurt you. The goal is to restore your marriage, your "feelings" will catch up pretty quickly. Sometimes we get so hurt that when they start to come back around we unintentionally push them away, so be careful how you respond to them. Our reactions can immediately change the atmosphere of a situation, so be sure that you respond in a loving way in your tone, body language, & overall attitude. Don't make the cost of your love too hard to pay for, because it will hurt you the most in the end! I hope that this is helpful for someone! My marriage has been saved and is thriving for the 1st time ever since redemptively loving my husband, & yours can too!!! May God continue to bless and cover all of our marriages and restore our love, thank You God for softening our hardened hearts and turning them back to our spouses in Jesus' name I pray Amen!!! 💜💜💜
