LP stands for Legendary Potential. Legendary potential is the number of affixes you can transfer from an Exalted item to the Unique item, creating a Legendary item.

and this is the best system for unique in HNS. Low level unique have a higher chance to have more LP so it can be a good endgame item ! that's really smart from the dev's

I've only really started playing since the multiplier patch but I feel like anything under 50-60 effective level for legendary potential isn't to unrealistic to aim for a 2-3 lp unique and anything over is 0-1 likely hood of every finding them. Since the patch I have found 1 lp 4 item and 8 or so lp 3 items a few lp 2. With pretty much every item under effective level for legendary potential of about 70 I've seen at least once with 1 lp if I have had that item drop. I have played a lot tho have a level 100 and a 98 to give an idea of play time since patch. Hope this info helps with the luck I've had. Oh and I have no real freaking clue on corruption how it realistically effects drop chance, tile spawns, lp chance or anything other then monster harder to kill. So I've pretty much been staying at 100 - 160 range as that is about where my minions k/d is favorable in my eyes lol

Does an effective level for LP over 100 prevent the item from being even possible to spawn with LP? Or, a more apt question would be whether there are any hard limitations that prevent certain items with spawning with LP (static quest drops notwithstanding)? Or does 105 just make it unfathomably rare, but still technically possible?

You're good at explaining stuff. IMHO You should create whole series of short (2-4min) videos explaining things related to LE (that may confuse people that are new to this game) and make it into "Last epoch guides" playlist

the "LE Shorts" playlist is close to what you're describing. It's hard to figure exactly what the YT audience is looking for, at any point in time. The "LE for POE Gamers" video, for example, was well-timed for the big influx of incoming gamers.

@@PerrythePig let me throw few ideas: "crafting guide" (so far the best one is made by ziggyd a year ago and it's pretty basic), "how to start gearing your character" (what items to pay atrtention to, goals in terms of resistances when hitting certain levels), "how to set up your leveling lootfilter" (again, very similliar topic on how to smooth out your leveling process), "best leveling skills / spec" (e.g. how to get to monoliths ASAP). For someone who is relatively unexperienced in LE and likes to try a lot of stuff - getting to monoliths as fast as possible is one of my main struggles and i believe there are a lot of altoholics out there who think just the way i do.

Man, I had a Ravenous Void drop, and ditched it on cleanup because I was like "I'll never play VK, whatever". I shoulda hung onto it just in case, didn't realize it was so rare =( Edit: Whoa, also have Prism Wraps with 1 LP... Are they good?

One question I have is, can you use an exalted mod such exalted sentinel armor and say you wanted to transfer armor shred from the exalted piece to woven flesh (provided you had lp potential) . Say for the sake of the senerio you got shred on woven flesh, since woven flesh is generic armor, would you be able to wear that armor as a mage class.

If you transfer a ClassMod, then the unique item will become "Sentinel Only"

Ok thank you. Also does LP potential drop chance improve with corruption. I have been farming the outcast boss on 300ish plus corruption to try to get a 2 or 3 LP woven flesh.. I did about 25 runs with no luck. Does corruption have any effect on lp chance , or is the minimum requirement to roll lp the only determined factor of if or how much an item could roll.

Do we know the actual data on how the effective level corresponds to actual rarity? Like, what % of Ravenous Voids are 0 LP? 1 LP?

I don't believe we have any public information about how rarity of LP is reflected in-game.

what is the difference between with or without LP. U cant craft unique item, so what's the point? i had some of them and the stat difference is not that high.

You can trasnform your unique into legendary, if you go to the guide there is a tab called "legendary". You can infuse an exalted item of the same tipe into your unique and it will Add a roll of your exalted into the unique.

To further expand on the other reply, when you slam your exalted and unique item together at the end of the Temporal Sanctum, the LP # on the unique is the number of mods that will be randomly selected from your exalted item and added to your unique item.

This game is having too many layers of RNG. Depending on what build you want, you have to pray your rare item drops, then pray some more it has some legendary potential, then pray to get a good exalted, then pray some more the correct affix infused. And that if you can actually kill Julra....which requires a good build to begin with.

There's a lot of RNG if you want to absolutely min-max your character, sure.... but getting a character up-and-running is fairly simple. I like the balance!

@@PerrythePig I am not expecting to start a character from scratch and have all the top gear. But I am running around 200 corruption empowered monoliths (I could go higher), have all my resistances maxed out (some with over 200%) and critical avoidance, fairly good Endurance and ET, around 2k armor and yesterday I tried to run tier IV Soul Forge and the ground would one-shot me. Just imagine what the boss could do. I locked behind hundreds of layers of RNG to keep going. There are far too many stats combined with too many types of gear and now we have legendary potential. Some of the gear I won't even get them to drop without legendary potential after days of farming. I can't even imagine what it would take to get one with 3 LP. I have yet to get some shitty unique I won't even use with more than 2 LP. Things for a new player just coming to game right now must be hell on earth.
