The secret of the Traditional Koulouri Thessaloniki's and Perek s3e6

Koulouri Thessalonikis is a traditional Greek street food snack that can be found on every corner of Greece. In its simplest form, koulouri is made with wheat flour dough that is shaped into a ring, coated in sesame seeds, and then baked.
The koulouri has traveled with Greek refugees from Asia Minor who first settled in Thessaloniki, and this is how the snack gets its name. The origins of koulouri are rooted deep in the Byzantine era.
Unlike the Turkish version, the Greek koulouri is not braided and is sometimes dipped in molasses. Modern variations in Greece often include fillings such as chocolate spreads, tahini, or cheese. This versatile snack is commonly enjoyed for breakfast and can be purchased from street vendors or numerous bakeries throughout the country.
