Great lesson again Sean and perfectly connects with the previous lesson. What I'd love to see next is more practical advice on how to move into the lead picking. You make it look so easy but after years of practice I still struggle with this. Can you elaborate on your technique...zoom in, slow it down and show us how to hit those notes with a pick and maintain perfect timing. 🙏

That Cminor11. I love it. How I wish there’d been a KZbin 30 years ago when I started playing guitar. I spent a long time trying to work out what that absolutely magic chord was in “Walking on the Moon” but when I bought the sheet music it just said C. It was of course Cmin11.

This was my approach to guitar pretty much lol. Never liked shows or doing it for a job, just liked it as a hobby and playing with friends and strangers at open mics. I learned how to play lots of chords in multiple positions and octaves. Once I mastered that, I started play the higher chords over my friends cowboy chords and added some fun arpeggiation to Give extra value to the music. I dont have to have the dedication of being part of a band but play a few songs live all the time cause freinds invite me up to be a guess support for a few songs

Sean - amazing as always. I am having a very tough time with the A minor. Is there an alternative fingering - maybe with the thumb? - or an easier voicing. Have some issues with reach on my middle finger. Similar issue with the F maj. I have stubby short fingers. Would appreciate any insight

jazz-ing up your chords isn´t "better" - it´s just advanced versions, wich may or may not fit a song. Bashing simple campfire chords is bad advice for beginner guitar players. So if you´re one, don´t listen to this dude here....and learn AND use those chords!
