switching off lights , follow everything you say I do but with restyl 0.25 tablet. sometimes I still can't sleep. Will listening to melodious instrumental music till I sleep, help?
Regardless how you sleep, how much you exercise and how much sleep you get, if you are not in a calorie deficiet you will not lose wieght.

Calorie deficit is calories consumed minus burnt. And how exactly do you calculate the calories burnt? Quality sleep can increase this burn and that is also one of his points.

That's not true, it's hormonal first. I started eating low carbs while eating the same amount of calories and I started losing weight (still losing) where's the same amount of calories on high carb meals loaded weight on me.
