@@Gorilla-Life when Genki had Gentaro is was reality that she was hurting inside herself,maybe she missed her mommy so bad that lost her heart and felt so overwhelmed that hurting herself by chewing off some of her fingers that the pain of hurting herself released pain she had built up inside her,you keepers did the right thing by bringing her home to her mom and her mom helped her just how to think healthy for herself ,I read when the keepers had to take baby Gentaro away from Genki at the same time they saw what she had done to herself with the scream they heard was something they never heard before , the zoo brought Genki home to her mom and with her moms love Genki found her true self,8 months later she received her baby Gentaro and her life was back with all the love she had lost ,her mom saved her daughter and her daughter was able to raise Gentaro and have her MoMo and with bringing Kintaro into the great circle of life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🌅

Gentaro is a wonderful gorilla, very handsome, and I'm sure Genki cared for him very much after they were reunited when he was a baby. It must have been traumatic for her when he had to be removed, so he could be fed, but thankfully things turned out for the best. It's clear to see that Genki is a very maternal gorilla by the way she treats Kintaro and I think she's very sweet. I hope that life for Gentaro will have a happy ending. I think he deserves it. 💙💙🌹❤🌹💙

It breaks my heart to hear that Genki cried when they took her baby! I can only imagine what she was thinking! It must have been very difficult for the zookeepers to hear! And to hear that she almost miscarried! How tragic that would have been! Thank goodness Gentaro is growing so well! Great job everyone! Thank GL for the information. ❤️

He will never be a silver back then, because I watched a video the other day and it GL said he was told he may never have a mate,some gorillas don't, and that is really sad for Gentaro.

I appreciate the super thanks. Some viewers overseas misunderstand that Genki had miscarrige. Nope, she has never had miscarrige in her life. Genki really wanted to raise her son Gentaro from the beginning but it was unfortunate that she was unable to produce enough breast milk. In case of Kintaro, kintaro also got supplemental foods from his keepers for his first few years.

I read in my gorilla magazine from the World Wildlife Foundation that gorillas who stay with their families in the wild can stay between blackbacks and silverbacks for a long time. They often live on the periphery of their families if they cannot find a mate.

Ich kannte die Geschichte von Gentaro durch meine verstorbenen Tochter Sie hat mir vieles erzählt wie traurig Genti war als Sie von Gentaro getrennt wurde. Es war sehr lang für eine Mutter aber Gott sei Dank hat Sie Gentaro danach wieder an genommen. Genti ist meine Lieblings Gorilla Dame Sie hat vieles weniger schönes erlebt aber iihrere Kinder liebt Sie sehr .Wie muss Genti gelitten habe als ihr Baby von ihr getrennt war um so glücklich wo Gentaro wieder da .Genti ist mein Lieblings Weiblicher Gorilla und die Familie ist meine absolute Lieblings Familie jeder einzelne von ihnen liebe ich sehr. After his first ten months, he returned to Genki. He got his milk from his keepers on occasions. It was not like that Genki was unable to produce milk. The quantity of the mikl was too low.

Genki had one miscarriage in the zoo, she was in before she came to this zoo, and then she had to loose another,the father of her baby she misscaried was Momentaros dad, looked like Momotaro.
