I saw the video on Spilo's channel with you and realized that I had already seen one of your videos before months ago, the Genji guide for Overwatch 2 pretty much when the game released. I was a new Overwatch player and didn't know a single thing about the game, so I didn't understand many of the concepts even though I wanted to learn more about Genji. I managed to get to Plat at the end of s3, and now re-discovered your content, rewatched your guide after improving my overall game sense a little bit, and I have to say it's probably one of the best guides on any hero I have ever watched. After much frustration, I almost gave up on Genji in the last few months, but your explanation of "pathing" and me implementing it into my games has felt like a real break-through. Thanks so much for making all this content and sorry for the long ass comment 😅

Don't be sorry, I LOVE reading these! I'm happy to have helped you out, but yeah I did fail you when it comes to a more basic guide for beginners =(

@@HarmlessPoke I think that if you had to add all the basic information about the game itself, there maybe wouldn't have been as much time to talk about Genji specifically which was what made the guide special in my opinion!

Bro really made a nearly 13 min video off 2 clips, goat activity. It was difficult for me to wrap my head around a few of the things explained in the first clip, sheesh

@HarmlessPoke whenever i watch your videos I just get reminded of how difficult it is to play perfect genji lol, it keeps me thinking in game tho and not just brain afc, keep the vids coming

@@lightfreeze1008 that's what makes the character so much fun imo, the mix of underwhelming balance and an infinite skill ceiling that makes overcoming challenges SO REWARDING

Exactly just feeling the pressure of not making a single bad decision and doing encounters correctly and winning bc of what you did on genji, nothing like it

I wish you were a tracer main because you have very good general tips. The entitled part makes so much sense

for us genji players this content basically doesn't exist so this is a gold mine. the genji community consists of posting clips and talking about how shit the hero is

Do you want tracer tips? I can provide that in my discord server, as I don't think I will make a video on tracer anytime soon =/ I do love the character tho, maybe I will make a tracer only account to learn her once ranked isn't broken!

I think after sleeping the Ana, going for the Cree would be the smartest. Mercy might not react in time being focused on the sleeping Ana and you can 2 slash the cree, move to Mercy either confirming the kill or get her to fly away, and by then you can dash back to the waking Ana and confirm kill on her. All the meanwhile team would most defiantly reacted by now and helped out

This is definitely possible, but I doubt that the team would help in time xD

can u do a educational unranked to top 500
@HarmlessPoke Жыл бұрын
I don't really see the point of smurfing to be educational if I can be educational in my actual rank (which is a type of content I want to do soon) With that being said, I won't rule out the possibility since unfortunately they get MASSIVE views, and since I want to do content creation full time I may have to do one to help the channel grow. We will see!
@bardockz17 Жыл бұрын
@@HarmlessPoke Unranked to gm series are actually very helpful for low ranks, starting from me who often watches them and learns a lot. Low rank lobbies feel like a completely different game trust me. The positioning, the target prioritizing, and much more things are completely different in such lobbies and it's always educational to see how a high ranked player would play in them. That being said, I'd also like to see you do one of them
@HarmlessPoke Жыл бұрын
@@bardockz17 it's extremely rare that a high rank player isn't simply flexing their superior skill on the lower ranked players to carry. Also, the lower ranks are mostly gonna be easier to implement important skills because players won't punish you for lack of precision as much, so most of the education that can be provided is exactly the same if not worse than just a normal high rank match with narration. I'm not saying I will never ever do one of them, but if I do end up doing one it will probably have a twist such as some sort of handicap that makes aiming a lot harder to showcase that mechanics aren't as important for genji as most players believe they are
@bardockz17 Жыл бұрын
@@HarmlessPokeIt would be interesting to watch it if you do it with a twist. Looking forward to seeing it. Apart from all of that, I wonder if you also do vod reviews because I've always wanted my gameplay to be reviewed
