Do you have to make it look so effortless, I feel like I am in a fight and a sour note is gonna win.

Could you make a video delving deeper into visualizing the melody while improvising playing solo? It’s easy enough to follow the chord changes in a jam, but as soon as I stray from the melody playing solo I loose any idea of where the changes are at.

That's a good idea. It might take some thought, but that's a good idea for a video.

You have the melody playing in your head while you're improvising. From practice, you know what sequence of notes works with each chord.

Thanks for this video! Could you do a video advanced rhythm technique. I watched this video of billy strings and sierra Hull playing deep blue sea... Billys rhythm tech is very interesting especially with the low end walks ups/downs that he does. Id like to learn more about those low end walks and how they can improve a rhythm section! Heres a link to the video i was mentioning. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIa5g4KGj6qEqNEsi=qSUlMfCf8jp8YEG5&t=55 ... Thanks Andy!

Good one... the song is the thing... But, on a different note (C#, I think?), did you know that Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky" can be sung to "Bury Me Beneath the Willow"? I thought not. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!" He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood a while in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One two! One two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. "And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

So do dr Suess "Green eggs and ham" if you try it. That one won't be a bluegras hit, either.😅

You just took that tune from fun to fabulous, average to amazing, boring to breathtaking. Still working on more accolades for your improv. Gotta grab my guitar.
