"I don't try to be offensive but I want to think critically and sometimes that is offensive. And that is okay because I am not trying to be here for everybody"- That resonates so strongly with how I communicate and I was always shocked with why people got so offended when I was simply trying to understand why they were thinking the way they did even when I asked in a very polite way.
@GrowthNation-bv3rb
@GrowthNation-bv3rb Жыл бұрын
If you ask and dismiss of their views how ever polite, they would pick an offensive because everyone wants to be heard, do you find a way to tell them they are saying rubbish without telling them they are saying rubbish. That way everyone wins and you'd have passed your message or school of thought

What I learnt from this video on Personal Branding: 1st thing... ...to build a strong personal brand, you need to define who you're talking to. ... That'll improve your messaging and your target customer will feel you know their stuff really well. ... And that'll increase your odds of winning the game. ... I think this is applicable for every brand whether personal or not. 2nd thing... ...Build your own diction ...It'll be easier for your target customers to spot you and your brand. ...meaning, your brand messaging will be clearer. ... Don't adapt the diction of your parents, society, or anyone who wants you to believe and do what they believe and do.

@@thefutur These are overly used by low-quality content creators and may give a similar vibe here. Your videos are full of information and when i am fully indulged in them, and a stock video comes up, it feels the same if I am sitting & listening to someone in person, i am looking at their face, paying full attention to important stuff they are sharing, and all of a sudden they pull a video of random people and put it infront of my face. I would prefer to just look at the person talking in the video than looking at a stock video.

You brand both as their own seperate entities that feed off of each other. The distinction is that people trust people, therefore having your personal brand and being a known face in your target audience industry helps drive growth to both.

So I have a question. what if the service or the product that I want to provide have no specified age. like you want to create a restaurant or something like that. how can I limited the age! & of course we can't stop the other age ranges from entering the restaurant. this is always confusing me
@arispilitsopoulos1320
@arispilitsopoulos1320 Жыл бұрын
Hi, restaurants have other demographic /psychographic criteria you should check. Age is also important - for example people in their 20s probably visit different restaurants than people in their 50s but for restaurants the best way to segment your audience is by food taste ( Italian or Indian or Chienese), by price ( low budget, medium budget, luxury) and by entertainment type ( lounge music, no music, bar/restaurant etc). so you can create content according to these elements. For more criteria like the above try to see how tripadvisor segments the restaurants in an area. hope this helps 🙂
@verlegen
@verlegen Жыл бұрын
"of course we can't stop the other age ranges from entering the restaurant" That's right. You can't. However, you attract specific people with your specific message (language and style in your ads, interior, service, etc.). If the wrong people come in by accident and they complain you can tell them "It's ok, it's not for you - maybe you should go to restaurant xyz". An extreme example is "Karen's Diner". Another one is a restaurant near my city that has only one dish on it's menu - it's doing well for centuries (and it's in the middle of nowhere).

you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. not everyone you spend time with is intentional. some of it is because of habit and routine. the meaning is to be more intentional with how you spend your time an with whom. notice all the old HS friends that you outgrew and no longer spend time with?

So if you have just 5 friends and/or can’t make any new friends? Then you should help the friend as you identified as worst, to groom them/ guide them / improve their average and in return improve yours too. You will also help raise the average of your entire group of friends. I’m sure it’s not your best friends that you should start with . Maybe start with 5 friends from work? Hope I said it differently enough.

@@WithUsersInMind Keep in mind, it’s not about you seeing bad qualities in a friend and then determining that they need to change. They would have to want to change and ask for help.
