Staying emotionally stable, happy and trying to succeed in this life under so much pressure is a challenge especially as he said when pretty much everything that surrounds us is toxic from food to social media. It takes a lot of decision making and self education to be able to make the right choices. Younger generation is the most vulnerable one because they are born into and raised under the influence of confusing, unfiltered, flawed social media. And most of the time they cannot tell right from wrong

Before seeing this video, I was on medication for 6 months for anxiety. I recently I got myself off the meds, stopped binging on chips (& have no more desire for it now), started taking Omega 3 & Vitamin D and going for morning & afternoon walks. I learned to do this from various sources...I'm not fully healed but I am definitely feeling ALOT better than I was 6 months ago. I thought there was something wrong with me, but this video just gave affirmation that I'm taking the right steps to heal my hardware. Thank you Dr. Amen & Tom for such an informative video!

Maybe better for you but some people need to be on meds. Like if they have hypothyroidism due to your body destroying most of it. You cannot magically heal your thyroid. Same with diabetes esp type 2. You can’t just make the pancreas produce insulin. That’s why they need to inject it because their bodies aren’t getting it.

This episode was literally mind-blowing! Most of us who follow Impact Theory, more or less have an understanding and awareness of health, personal development, etc., so episodes like this, serve to validate and strengthen what we know. This type information, however, doesn’t reach the masses of people who need it most. More outreach is needed through government programs and public education. I mean, look at the menus in public schools! Kids are innocent. The interests of big corporations are placed ahead of our well-being, and a lot of education is needed so people in general make more empowered choices.

This is amazing!! I am 100%with you dear doctor. I am a strong believer of changing the brain/mind/thoughts but people don’t want to accept the truth as they enjoy being in that negative state without making an effort. They want a quick fix- tablets. I do watch programs like this a lot and I started to put the knowledge into practice. I believe actions speak louder than words. Coming from spiritual background…meditation is the key and it helps the Holy Spirit to guide me to possess the Christ like mind! My mentally challenged sister whom we are looking after 20+ years going through bipolar/schizophrenia/psychotic today she is getting lot better because of the food and mainly the prayers. Praise God! Each time, I listen to these kind of programs my relationship with God become so meaningful. I shared this video with my children and my son who is doing medicine said that, he was glad that he did watch the video as it helped him to change his perspective about the negative thoughts. BIG Thank you to Dr. Amen and Tom. Such an insightful video. All glory to God. He is using people to spread the good news of healing the brain. 🙏

Look up the Walsh Method for schizophrenia. It’s not one disorder, it’s an expression of severe oxidative stress to the brain. Diet influences the brain. Gluten allergies can trigger psychosis. High dopamine can cause catatonia. Certain nutritional deficiencies can inflame the brain. Niacin can remove schizophrenic symptoms from a certain percentage of those with it.

Dear Sir I am from India, my sister was just four years old when she got sick of malaria and because of untimely detection and treatment it got serious and in a matter of days she lost her sense of response and got completely blank. Doctors told us that due to blood clot on her brain she will not be like normal person. Now it is more than ten years and sad thing is, she go through 5-6 times seizures almost every night and it is difficult to control her since she's abnormally overeating and strong. Our whole family has been affected by this tragedy. Sometimes she seems like she subconsciously reply long after we say something or do. I always believe that she can recover if she find the right doctor or therapist. To have a piece of our heart suffering everyday without even being able to speak of it is heartbreaking. Just putting it up with a hope that some expert might notice and be able to help. thank you so much if you've come this far.

Thank you for speaking the truth!!! I am so far down the hamster line on psychological drugs for " mental problems" . The best I ever felt was when I was on nothing and open to God. I am in a co dependant ptsd marriage of 22 yrs after years of verbal abuse and he has taken over my life. I really need help to get me authentically back again before it's too late.

This is a comment to support the addition of caption revisions to this video and videos like it. Many deaf individuals rely on captions in order to accurately confirm the exact message of the speaker, an example of a mistake in this video is at 31:05-31-9 where it states "and when I close my eyes and go well well today", this is an example where the correct phrase "and when I close my eyes and go what went well today" could result in difficulty understanding the technique or having to rewind the video multiple times in order to read the lips of Dr. Amen.

Dr. Daniel Amen is a professing Christian. It's one of the reasons I was doubly interested in his work. It was inspiring to say the least. But I was sad to find out that his services are not available to people who don't have the income for it. I did call his clinic and spoke with a very nice lady, and I was ultimately confounded because there was no way to find treatment unless I was among the wealthy. If he really is a brother, then God bless him. But... my goodness... how many people who are lower income and serious could be helped. It would make a general difference.

I was so excited and had that same thought, but I was literally was so excited and I was at a loss for words when I met him and my brain couldn't get out anything I wanted it to. I never imagined something like that happening to me. I guess I have never really believed in someone like I believe in him. I think about it and wish I had another chance to just ask him questions.

The goal of ending mental illness is also part of the goal that Maria Montessori had in her work. She witnessed the insanity of World War II and knew that we could not hope for peace and justice until people were whole and healthy. Her prepared environments were developed to work in harmony with the way humans actually learn and develop (since she was a medical doctor - and was horrified by the many ways that the educational and parenting practices of the time were in direct conflict with biological development). Mihaly Czsentimihaly has found that Montessori classrooms support FLOW - a state of optimal psychology. Adele Diamond, Angeline Lillard, and other researchers also found that Montessori activities support the development of executive functions, kindness, and positive self-regard.
