Damn this was DEEP. He hit me hard when he said "I wanted to sit at the table with my dad and feel every emotion about that relationship and I wanted to think about everything that him and I missed out. And everything that should have been having my mom there having my dad there the things he should have taught me how to do. The way I should have looked up to this man. And then I wanted to look him in the eyes and look into his soul and feel everything he did wrong in his life and maybe I'll leave a better father because of it all." DAMN! This was a great interview.

This is so thought emotionally Lewis. I could not imagine how it was for you during this dialogue. I can feel here his profound sense. "In my own prison"... the chains we put to ourselves are often the roughest. Set yourself with forgiveness to the past events, RELEASE. Take pain as a weapon... I am speechless.

Lewis always have these amazing guests on. I was feeling so crappy since this morning and Jon just made me smile and shift my energy when he told his story about him and the man in the hospital. I really clicked on this podcast when he spoke about what you tell yourself and what will be seen in the world.

This is the best episode of The School of Greatness I've heard, and there are so many quality episodes. I'd sum it up by saying it's about forgiveness and life. What happens to us in life can impact us, but the largest impact will come from the story we tell ourselves about what happened and how we decide to progress through life there after.

I want to acknowledge you, Lewis Howes, for being such a kind, open-hearted man who listens intently and empathizes deeply. You create a wonderful mix of a fluid conversation and properly structured interview. You bring to life each person that you speak with, while only interjecting personal commentary when highly relevant to the subject at-hand. I've been binging your podcasts lately because they are so poignant and well-composed in a time of my life that isn't those things that... well, it helps me. So, thank you. Really, thank you.

miss42310 So many parents out there hurt there kids with every action thinking that there lost in their own worlds, but that’s a lie, we’re always watching what they do, and we always get hurt if they say something to hurt us no matter how our expressions are portrayed. I’m so glad I found this.
