I no longer want to just feel happy; I want to feel fulfilled. I would be happy if I had an income of £2000 a month, but that wouldn't fulfill me! I have some work to do but I've got this!!! Great video, Ed! I agree that even after you find your calling, it is not always easy! You also have to be observant and flexible with yourself. I'm 44, and have been working on computers and technology since I was 12. I have had to re-invent myself numerous times to stay releveant and find what I love to do in my career field. I have realized that I love to help and mentor people. So I have started volunteering at the local food bank and am looking into helping to mentor at risk youth to help them get excited and gain confidence about their potential in life. Your videos have helped me discover a lot about myself. I see you as the combination of the older brother and Dad I never had to guide me, LOL. Just know that you make a difference and are appreciated. Much love, brother!

You are right on point. As a small boy I looked up to an uncle who was a police officer. I always wanted to follow in his footsteps. 28 years later I retired from the police department and yes “never worked a day in my life”. I loved it. As a police detective I recognized that the senior citizen community needed help in their home as they aged. No I own a business that helps our senior citizens stay sage and secure in their home with trained caregivers. This has been a blessing as well. Not only another purpose fulfilled, but also an increase in income. I am so grateful and fulfilled.

Ed. This is another thought provoking and perspective shifting video that reasonates with me. My favorite takeaways are: 1) Shifting from side hustling to getting a side mission, cause, crusade, or calling. 2) The pathway to our passions is through the things I admire in my role models. 3) Just being happy isn't enough. (I say this all of the time). 4) Wealth equals a total freedom of time! 5) When you expressed that we, the viewers, are an extension of the see 8 boys you started with in the group home. This one thing is so very very important. Letting go of whatever happened a minute ago, what happened yesterday. You can't let go of the negatives until, you let go of the positives. What is the flow state? It's the state of neutrality. Which is to keep the mind open, keep the heart open to allow the moment time to reveal what it's all about. What this does is that it prevents you from repeating the same behaviors. This is a growth mindset. A few times I have walked into a store. To face a crew who is working against me, because they likes the manage who just got fired. And within a couple of weeks have then warm up to me.

*The secret is embracing the fear of failure, detaching yourself from your rut and investing time into getting to know yourself. That is done by befriending the solitude and digging out your darkest and deepest secrets. Taking time to process, feel, resolve and release them. Only when your mind is free, can your true self be manifested and you arrive on a path to a joyful life, experiencing that through your purpose. Don’t give up on yourself and make yourself your #1 priority.*

One of the things I’d be doing if I had all the time in the world ... helping women in need realize their true potential I WS always happiest when I saw the smile and joy I can bring to peoples lives . To be of service in a way the no one else could ... as a cosmetologist I had many and still have opportunities to touch the life’s of others . My customers always told me my hands were magic . I never really understood what they were talking about . Till couple years ago , anyone can do hair from heat to toe . Not everyone has the gift to make someone feel special , loved , heard , and genuinely have this person in your surrender . I always told my clients when they asked how I did it ...?? How I could make their very being beautiful confident and at ease always leave my presence with a smile in their face and warmth of joy in their heart . I’d tell them shhhh. It’s A Secret... Really I knew I was were I needed to be to fill my cup up by helping others . The magic hands are now at work on another project soon to be back behind the mirror ... Thank you for you undying gratitude of helping me and many like myself reach their goals and propelling forward . Time to turn the page and make the profit margin fill up up to there’s no limits . Have a blessed day 💥

The two most important days in your life are the day you are borm, and the day you found out why. Ignite your passion and find your calling. Hi guys! It's me again :) You might have seen me before but my desire to inspire more people is what keeps me pushing to reach out more. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

My golden nugget was you talking about how your purpose, mission, crusade, doesn't have to be your career. For example you could have a great salary doing something you like but don't completely love. However that financial freedom may allow you to fund your passion or mission outside your career. I feel this is often overlooked and it feels like some people want to insinuate that your career has to be the place where you receive fulfillment. This is simply not true for everyone. Hi Ed - I watched this a couple times already. What really resonated with me was that my job doesn't also have to be my passion. This is something I struggled with for YEARS until coming to this realization on my own a few years ago. I think that message is so important, especially to younger "kids" just getting started. My friend's daughter recently shared how she was worried about making the wrong job choices now that she's out of college and on her own. I said the same thing you did...if the job isn't the passion, then look at it as the opportunity to give one the resources to pursue their passion. I'm in my 50s (late-bloomer, fast-learner) and I wish I had know that sooner. BUT, we learn things when we are ready for them and I guess I wasn't ready before. #maxout

While you were talking about purpose, I started wondering about mine. Even though I'm over 50, I still know that I want to help people. My heart really lays there. And then when you asked about who our hero's are, I knew immediately that you are mine! And it's because you went from having to 'shower on the beach' to where you are now, AND you have come out of it with your faith, AND passionate about helping others. Because my hubby and I are both unemployed and survival is a daily struggle - but we are happy - your whole story really speaks to me. The second that really spoke to me was when you said being wealthy gives you freedom of time ... never having to do anything or go anywhere that you don't want to. Just being able to buy my own food every month and having the time to invest in other's wellbeing - now that would truly be liberating and uplifting! Bless you big-time Ed!

Habits, beliefs, purpose, relationship to money, career, God.. At least I think that's what it is. I'm focused on getting my foundation built right. This is gold, I came to a crossroad in my life in 2012 when I knew my passion was music and helping people yet I was cooking for a living for 15 years. I I signed up for college music school and the teacher told us a 2 minutes story that changed my outlook on this subject forever. Mr. Rick Lazara has no idea he did this when he said in front of the class: -I was in a music band in the '70s, music was our passion and we all applied for music school, all of my buddies got in except me; -Then he said out loud GOD 'IM SO GLAD I DID NOT GET IT" because I ended going into electrical engineering, made a bunch of money more than all my buddies did in their music career, retired at an early age and now I teach here as a hobby which happens to be my calling. My lesson: Use whatever vehicle will take you to the destination you wanna go regardless you like the model or not. #MAXOUT

I believe my calling is to be a loving mother to my three beautiful children. And raising them on my own, with faith first and foremost, confident, teaching and molding them to become a good citizen for them to make a difference in thier generation one day. Being in the business in (WFG ) Its truly brought the best version of me, the way i view life, personally, financially, emotionally, and professionally its truly amazing! I love WFG for the good and amazing contributions that contributed in my life especiallly being as a single mom of three. And while listening and watching this video of yours. Added my confidence and desire to strive to the peak of my success and to provide a good future to my beautiful children through WFG. And i truly visioned myself that i will stand on that T mobile arena stage one day to share my story. WFG brought my passion to share Gods words one day through my church. #so motivated #Maxout❤

I am in my calling now and it is the most difficult thing I have ever done, but I can't image doing anything else. I had to find a way to finance my calling and I did and also found a way to expand my calling into that area as well. All of it took work and intention. I am content to do what I am doing but not satisfied, I want to take what I am doing to the next level so I can help more people. Thank's Ed you were spot on today. P. mark

I thought my calling was to be a mother. I really did-- and that was because my identity was skewed. A year ago yesterday I became a mother. I love my daughter so, so much. And, when she was about 6 months old, I realized I was made for more. You are helping me, Ed. I'm not entirely certain what that MORE is, yet. With content like this, I stay focused. I know you are helping many people just like me.

WTF!!??!?!!! Yes!!! I NEEDED this today. My mind has been intensely pondering these ideas lately to the point of exhaustion. The side crusade. Holy crap. I literally have this feeling like I've never had before that I need to keep making these videos of mine. My hopes to give other people hope. I've suffered from mental wellness issues since I can remember. But I'm learning how to not be disadvantaged by it. I was reminded recently through an intense spiritual battle how much other people need help with the the thing that I've been taught in God's sovereign plan. Difficult lessons. So I'll keep producing content and trust that the Lord will use it as He pleases. I had to dry dock my mind an regain control of my thoughts but I'm about ready to start posting videos again. But for one reason or another I have to be a very good home inspector for some period of time still. Thank you Ed.

You are right on point. Yesterday I went LIVE in Facebook and talk of a similar subject. In 2012 I had an experience that changed my life. That's why I created #HONORABLEENTERPRISES #mindset, #health, #finances. Since then I invest my money in this project. I paid off my house. Now I work part time doing something I love and half of the time I dedicate to develop my organization and take care of my kids. I started following Grant Cardone, now I don't follow him I follow you. I know when I'm ready to invest in Real State, he is my guy but for daily value I have you. Love you.

@@EdMylettShow I'm not sure if you remember, but I asked about who the most influential people were in their respective fields were, and I've done a lot of research since that post on here a few months ago. I am actually headed to AZ this week to see Dean Graziosi for his EDGE event. Rachel Hollis will be there and my wife loves her and of course I love Dean whom I heard here regarding real estate investing which really interests me. But... I can't say that I've heard anyone other than Dean, maybe Trent Shelton, that resonated in my soul as much as you have. You have TRULY impacted my life. I see things in a totally new light. I was chasing dreams of just making $1M and now I've shifted my focus to my company earning $100M. What is a dream if it isn't huge, right?! I heard a great statement about "callings" the other day. The conversation was between two women, one of which was in her early 50's. She stated she felt her calling was to be a mother. That she had always felt drawn to be a mother, but as life would have it she was not able to become a mother. Her career choice had been to be a nurse and she dealt primarily with older patients. The other woman asked if she had been bitter and resentful for not becoming a mother, and of course Lady 1 replied, "Yes". And in a moment of sheer beauty, lady 2 stated, "But you are a nurturer. Your desire was to be a mother. Your calling is to be a nurturer. You have been doing that for decades. So love the gift you were given and release resentment."My take away was a simple one. Your calling does not always translate in the way you see it. Just as you are speaking about, your career doesn't have to be inline with your calling. It can be a means to be able to DO your purpose. Thank you again for some great content!

I've definitely made the mistake of chasing money to make me happy more than once. It's so much easier to make money when you're happy and fulfilled than trying to drive yourself to make money by believing when you have it you will be happy. I dangled the happiness carrot like that for years and then struggled to understand why I wasn't successful. Glad those days are behind me.

Once again Ed, you did not disappoint with your powerful video. I always feel when I listen to you that I am hearing a version of myself. In regarding your particular message on this video I can totally relate and agree with what you said about you don't have to be rich to be happy and fulfilled. I live in a mobile home and I only have social security as my income I have no 401k or no big savings but I am so happy and peaceful and fulfilled because I know I am doing what God wants me to. I am not called at this time to reach masses of people but I am empowered and directed to touch one person at a time as God brings them across my path. This makes me very happy. 😊

Another great video and lesson again. I know that my job is not my calling...... I do know that I am most fulfilled and happy when I am helping people, and animals too. As a family we have a side crusade - we work with a dog rescue and that totally fulfills us all Now I am transitioning out of one career and working towards another - where the finances will help us to be able to help our side mission financially. We are going to be a part of that organization for a long time - and we are giving back I know too that my other calling is to help people. That is why I am transitioning careers. I know that I am most fulfilled when what I am doing career wise is helping other people and paying it forward THank you for this message!@!1
