Anybody that says they’re a Led Zeppelin rip off is simply parroting criticisms from their first EP. Their last two albums have their own very distinct sound and they’re a fantastic band.

Blues is blues, of course a lot of songs are going to sound alike. Zeppelin was accused of being copy cats as well but your playstyle will usually be similar to bands that influenced you.

I forgot to add...in the late 80's (maybe early 90's) a band called Kingdom Come came out (if any remember them) and they sounded very Zeppeliny. Look up Kingdom Come - Get it On

this "very average" band has been selling out every show they play for going on 4 years now, so they must be doing something right.
@hammill444
@hammill444 3 жыл бұрын
@@catchinglooks Simply means they are popular. How much they “sell” has no bearing on quality.
@catchinglooks
@catchinglooks 3 жыл бұрын
@@hammill444 but why are they popular? because people like how their music sounds and not only that, they want to see them perform it in a live setting - it's not "average" to them. i'm also guessing you've never seen them live. they're a fantastic live band and put on one of the best shows I've seen out of 300+ bands. again, there's a reason people continue to "bow down" to them. sorry your band didn't make it :(
