Because I lived with him and he isolated me so intensely, I forgot about the goodness in the world that there are good people outside of people like this. Take us here for example, we’re all here supporting each other in the comments and learning together how to heal. If I could take away all the traumas you all and I have gone through, I would. I wish you healing, realizing there are safe places and safe people, learning how to find safety and peace without it being a risk.

I have had forced csections (doctor threatened to drop me if I didn't allow because I wasn't having a baby on time). I was threatened by a dentist that if my daughter had tarter on her teeth, she would call dcfs. I was threatened if I left the pediatrician's office without the immunization shot she would call dcfs. The list goes on and on. The arrogance and obession with control is seen in the medical community-no doubt.

I explained the symptoms to my mental health therapist who was treating me for trauma and she explained that I was experiencing one of many symptoms that someone diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder would experience. She went on to give the scenario that I explained above. I was able to easily understand how the symptoms would manifest quickly and without warning (it can happen at very inconvenient times like when you’re driving a car). I hope that helps you.

I started crying somewhere between the 5:00 and 6:00 minute mark. This is why I'm 46 and I'm just beginning to heal from the abuse that started wen I was a toddler. OMG is sure feels good to know why it took me so long to heal. I thought something was wrong with Me for decades. I can see so clearly now. My life is peaceful and I'm happy being single and I wake up every morning loving myself and ready for the day. I seriously doubt I have ever had this feeling before. But I don't feel sorry for myself, I'm so proud of myself for finally doing something about the abuse and the toxic ppl I use to allow to surround me. Thank you Michelle! Ur videos are really life savings bc I can't afford professional help at the time in my life, I decided months ago to help myself , to read, do research, watch videos, take notes and do the work. It was hard but yet simple. I can't believe I allowed other humans to mentally abuse me , use me then discard me wen I had nothing left to give. I was looked down upon by so many ppl, I would hear the gossip going around about me, u would see the disapproval and shame in other's eyes and face wen I walked in a room, or so I was seeing and feeling that around certain ppl. And now all of that is behind me. I don't even care what anyone thinks about me anymore , bc i love me , I take care of me and at the end of the day only my opinion matters. It's amazing how much my mental state of mind has improved in the last 6 months. And this video has helped me understand what took me so long to begin healing.i don't want my 2 daughters to go thru what I did. And now I have the wisdom and tools to be able to help them recognize unhealthy behavior. Something I couldn't have done just 7 month ago. And like the brave Michelle is doing , I promise to spread and share this awareness to others so they too can heal. Merry Christmas Eve and a Happy New Year to anyone reading my comment!

I was reading your comment and really had to check to see if I'd posted it previously and just forgot -- but I only had one child and she's abandoned me too. My body was wracked with pain and inflammation along with multiple random symptoms.... my house became a shambles with "hoarding" which repeatedly resulted in me building "barricades" along windows and doorways. When I realized that I had some innate subconscious drive to create a bunker for safety inside my own-- but unrecognizable home. And after enduring a type of HOME INVASION -- my ex picked up his "ex" from jail and used my debit card for part of the bail -- and stayed out 6 hours after he was supposed to be back with my car -- THEN I HEARD MY SHOWER and found out he had another woman in my bathroom and MONTHS LATER she's "reorganized" everything or thrown out or intentionally ruined my belongings and my life. She bragged about her cyber skills and code writing.... never have been able to get anything done about the Cyber fraud -+ even diverted my child support payments and really THERE'S NO WAY TO GET HELP WITHOUT PLENTY OF MONEY and then it wouldn't be worth it even if anyone would have taken me seriously. She even convinced the police that I was just jealous bc a "boy liked her best" and claimed we were roommates! Cops tried to get me to be "nice" and she stalked and let herself into my house for years afterwards -- she was somehow able to get to my keys for her own copies and I have several 5 gallon buckets of locks I changed out.... She was determined to make my life a living hell. I've been poisoned and drugged/dosed against my knowledge and when I would have severe resulting GI reactions SHE WOULD TEXT ME AND LET ME KNOW THAT I DESERVED WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH + I FOUND SEVERAL WAYS OVER YEARS HOW MY PHONE WAS HACKED AND MY CAMERS DISAPPEARED FROM INSIDE MY HOUSE AND FROM MY WIFI AND I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PULL ANYTHING UP ONLINE.... BUT EVENTUALLY SHE WAS ACCUSING ME CONSTANTLY OF HAVING HIM WITH ME WHEN I DIDN'T AND AT SOME POINT SHE FADED INTO THE BACKGROUND AND A FEW THINGS THAT HE'D SAY OR JUST NOT BE SURPRISED ABOUT MADE ME REALIZE THAT HE'S REALLY BEEN ABLE TO USE WHATEVER SHE'D SET UP TO Terrorize me. Private detectives with the necessary professional credentials charge thousands to remove devices from your house and after enduring repeat hacks along with THE ENTIRE SITUATION AND I'VE BEEN TOO LOW ON FUNDS TO GET HELP AND FINANCIALLY IT'S GOING TO TAKE A FEW MORE YEARS TO EVEN BE ABLE TO SAVE UP TO BUY A USED CAR. AND NOW THAT I'VE FOUND A NATURAL DOCTOR WHO'S HELPED DIRECT ME TO THE HEALING TREATMENTS TO REPAIR MY BODY AND I'M FEELING BETTER THAN I HAVE IN A DECADE I KNOW THAT HE'S REALLY SURPRISED THAT I DON'T WANT TO PLAY HIS WHIPLASH GAME ANYMORE.... AND THEN NEXT I HAVE TO MOVE FAR AWAY AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BC I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FEEL SECURITY WITHIN A FEW HUNDRED MILES--HE SMILES WHEN HE LOOKS INTO CRYING EYES AND WHEN I WAS A CHILD MY MOM WOULD SAY THAT SHE'D GIVE ME SOMETHING MORE TO CRY ABOUT -- HE USED TO THREATEN TO LEAVE WHEN I CRIED -- but when I told him that I was crying because he was there in the first place -- which just got me ignored. Whatever I've wanted, needed, requested or demanded RESULTED IN THE OPPOSITE.... AND THEN I'D THINK THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO PREVENT AND GET AHEAD OF THE situation NEXT TIME -( JUST LIKE A GAMBLER DETERMINED TO GET A JACKPOT WHILE PUTTING THEIR LAST DOLLAR IN A SLOT....

I can’t help but think about this case and how a man with zero history of violence could snap. People can plan revenge when their so full of hate and anger from being belittled like she admitted doing to him. He’s responsible for what he did 100%. God I remember the hate and pain and anger and am so grateful every second of every day I didn’t act on it by responding or doing anything much less killing someone.

Your video, 20 symptoms of narcissistic victim syndrome, was the one video that helped me most to understand and be able to explain what had happened to me over the 21 years of marriage to a malignant narc. I knew he was narcissistic but didn’t really understand the full extent of what that meant or the evil he was capable of until my health had finally deteriorated to the point I could barely get out of bed. Even though I had learned over the years not to show any weaknesses or they’d be used against me, I knew something had to change. I mistakenly turned to him for help without realizing he was the source of how I got where I was. The more I poured my heart out to try to get him to understand, the more ammunition I have him to hurt me in the most cruel and unimaginable ways and I couldn’t understand why until I discovered that video. I have recently tried to find this video to share with my daughter and a couple friends who are in toxic relationships and starting to experience many of these same symptoms (I ended up with all 20) but it looks like it was taken down. You referred to it in a video you did a few months ago but I still can’t find the original video you did about the 20 symptoms of NVS. Is this still available. My daughter is in a toxic relationship and starting to experience a lot of these symptoms and I have friends trying to leave a narcissist that is like to share it with before they make the same mistakes I did. How can I get the video?

I’ve done a lot well in that time. 4 or 5 days a week at the gym. No drugs, drinking, no porn, no rebound. I am in the best physical shape of my life now at 48 but I’m a shell. I was a dating coach for 6 years before and extremely extrovert and super social. I spent years dating tonnes and super confident (not arrogant) and now that person that I was seems completely foreign to me. I take good care of my body now to help it heal but I’m less than 1% of who I used to be socially. That was after a year and a half engaged and living with a narc. Thank you so much Michele for the video course. I'm going to sign up very soon when I have a chance to dig into them. I've been married for 43 years, with the same man for 47 years and was raised by a narcissistic mom. I'm at the very beginning of my healing journey and still living with my husband. Not only that, my 38 year old mildly autistic son and 34 year old daughter (with 2 children) live with me so you can imagine the stress I am under. I'm still not sure how I'm going to leave my husband (he won't leave because he doesn't think he does anything wrong) or where I will live. I've been able to stay positive up to this point because of spiritual guidance and being determined not to let other people destroy my life. But lately I've been feeling the depression creeping up on me. I am 62 years old and the thought of starting my life over is frightening to me but I am determined to move forward and become the person God created me to be. Your videos have made me aware that I've been living with narcissists all of my life. Just being aware of that is a start. Thanks again Michele.

I love this concept. It makes so much sense. This reminds me of a study I read recently about cortisol and emotional abuse. We get so used to the stress response and bottom dropping out that we develop something akin to an addiction to it (according to the study). When you are in their mean- sweet cycle it confuses your emotions and this is why many can't see the game going on. Coverts are very tactical in their approach making sure no residue of their abuse remains seen. A baseball player up to bat never intends to hit a foul ball because they want to hit a home run. If we go up to bat with evil people they will throw their foul balls not over the plate but at us. Step aside and let them fly by. A narcissist doesn't want you on their team unless you are one of their flying monkeys to go to bat for them. You are their competitor because you are a genuinely kind person. This stirs up jealousy in them. They operate in manipulation intent to deceive. When you stand aside rather than own their behavior the lights come on. They don't want to be responsible for their behavior, they want you to be responsible so you remain entangled in their chaos. This leaves no time for you to think objectively.

Hello. Thank you so much for all your videos.!!! I am amazed how skilled you are; I mean I had/have a big tendency to deny or feel guilty about the bad treatments I received from narcissit family members, and somehow, thanks to your videos, you opened my eyes, to accept the bitter truth. You mention concrete examples which can make echo so that I were able to identify in myself what I have been denying for so long. Not only that, but you give concrete tools to heal, in a well structured manner; so that even if I have intial aversion towards healing, somehow this (illogical) aversion turned out to be dismantled. And it is also very touching to see someone with a very positive atiitude towards other, using her intelligence to help in the best way; there was also your videos for the teenagers obliged to stay at home and deal with their narcissist parents, and so forth. In a word, a huge thanks!! :) I hope it benefited you as much as we were benifited by your wonderful videos.

The bottom up approach sounds so logical and I think the therapy I receive helps my body in that way. Because my personality has been buried since childhood, it’s hard now knowing that it can come out and be expressed without fear. I’m working on being okay with who I am. It’ll all work out and that’s exciting to me. I feel like ending with this “Breathe happy!”.

Yes she’s really good. Very practical advice here and very informed. For me, I need to practice learning how to calm down. At the same time I’m doing the top-down approach too by grounding myself in my new-found faith and also promising myself to move out before he returns from Holidays in 2 weeks. I never want to see his face again and I don’t want to be moving out from here with him in the apartment. The narcissist I’m speaking of is my roommate… yes… sigh… I let myself in this situation for 2 years… there were lots of variables that stalled me from moving out (moving in smack in the middle of the pandemic in a country with a total lockdown (couldn’t even go outside to workout…) after he’d been living here alone for 3 months (and he was half crazy by that point and it didn’t help that when I met him his face was also covered by the mask). Just being alone in the apartment for the past 4 days is unbelievable…. That “fight or flight” feeling isn’t so strong and I was even able to actually relax evening when a friend visited me, I sadly think I got used to it the fight or flight :( ). I think maybe this was Gods way of making sure I never marry someone like him and to listen to my inuitiob always… this man is without doubt a covert narcissist with “malicious” traits (horrifying…. It’s like there’s nothing inside him, like he’s just this balloon floating about, and I think that he may have attracted some bad energy to this apartment too cause nothing for me and I mean nothing…. Literally like a streak of comical bad luck… has gone well for me ever since I told him I’m moving outa here). The worst is the constant self doubt and feeling like Maybe I’m the awful evil person for thinking so low of someone who can be so nice. Actually the worst part is the inability to relax because that is bad for the body too. Wow 😮 I just cannot believe what I let myself go through… but to me it’s been a huuuuge lesson that I MUST seek something to ground myself in and that something for me is Jesus Christ, the one and only son of God, I have been praying to him to show me the way to become closer to him. I ask you Jesus I BEG you to not foresaw me me… show me the path…. Show me how to accept your forgiveness for my sins…. I barely know how to repent but I believe that has a lot to do with removing the burdens of my sins…. I pray to you I seek from you repentance from my sins… show me how to repent the one and only Son of God, JESUS CHRIST, I LOVE YOU. And watch over all those on this channel who are healing in their abusive narcissist person and if they are still trying to leave or distance themselves from the person I pray that you show them the way to distance themselves, and most of all if there are any children involved… please look after the little ones and spare them from being another victim. I thank you from the very very bottom of my heart Jesus Christ 🙏🏼

The divorce is going to ruin me financially( my ex has set me up very well..as all good Covert Narcissists do) I am only alive because of my faith, as I thought I was going insane, and when she did the final disconnect.
