The modern world really needs to get back to basics in every area, especially regarding relationships & romance/intimacy. We LET so many "things" come between us, & then complain about it, so the challenge is to radically recognize & reframe our living & thinking on the topic. I see the beauty & wisdom of the Rabbi's words, I hold them to be deeply deeply true & it's so refreshing to hear someone, even of another faith, speak them.

The verse can be interpreted so many different ways. I have always heard that his brothers sold him.... Please tell me how you understand this. Thank you

I have learnt a lot from Rabbi Friedman and I wish I could find someone with this same knowledge. I am Zimbabwean and there are so many religious people who most of them have this stereotypic mindset about Jews. It is so funny how much people miss out of profound knowledge because of ignorance.😏

Or you could say women often marry for security because they need to feel safe in their vulnerability…of birthing and raising children, for instance. The husband provides.

Loved it! I am not Jewish but I agree with everything you said. Maybe I should become Jewish although I have heard they don’t let people in.
@estyflam69974 жыл бұрын
Judaism doesn't encourage others to become Jewish because of the belief that everyone has their own purpose in life and as long as they fulfill their own individual purpose, it doesn't matter which religion they're part of. However, if someone really believes their purpose is to be a Jew, there are protocols on how they can become a Jew. But, usually they are just encouraged to be a Noahide.
@withrootsandeverything34603 жыл бұрын
We are on the path to becoming Jewish our soul yearns to go to the place that we belong. And they do let people in. You have to want it, your soul will want it.
