The Scriptures contain many stories of people who waited years or even decades before the Lord's promises came to pass. What modern believers can learn from the patience of biblical saints like Abraham, Joseph, David, and Paul is that waiting upon the Lord has eternal rewards.

I have been able to control every sin I struggled with except for lust. I am sober, I am kind and loving to my neighbors I am not quick to anger, I forgive ppl who do wrong onto me and I don't let greed drive me but lust is the one thing I need help. I ask every day for help strength and discipline but it's the one thing that I have not been able to deny. This was definitely motivational, longest I went without committing sexual sin was one week.I'm hoping to take it one day at a time and be able to deny that part of me.

I don't think Potiphar's wife fooled anyone. I Believe the people around her knew her for the type of woman she was... Including her husband. It never says the potifer was angry at Joseph. I think he was angry about the situation and losing a good servant because his wife forced him to be in a position where he had no choice but to punish Joseph. If Potiphar really believed his wife Joseph's life would have been forfeit. The fact that he sends him to prison shows that he believed Joseph not his wife.

Actually, the Jews never went to Egypt. Joseph was born in Yemen where the Jews lived. He married a Hebrew wife and eventually he left and trekked East to Japan where is buried under a White Mountain, which is Mount Fuji. The Jomon period or Joseon Dynasty in Japan is named after him as he has descendants through the Ainu people(don't have slanted eyes) in Japan. Rama who is Potiphar's wife never met Joseph and she was a priestess with servants. She was a very virtuous woman who never tried to seduce anybody. As you can see, the 42 Rules of Maat was the Egyptian version of the Decalogue that influenced it. Another influence was the Hammurabi Code. There is a story of Imhotep who was the son of a river god that came long before Christ did.

The truth is, no matter what the sin is, sin is sin, and you know fully when you're in it...so don't act surprised when you the Lord shakes you.
