I did some calculating a cycle earlier than you won. Worked out you’d had it if your blocking stack was active. Then worked out your blocking stack was necessary to prevent white running it. Basically you were a God that third game!

I agree with you Pete, if skipping were novel, then his argument would be valid but since it is not, Kilted just played right into it and won. In high level chess, GMs will often introduce slightly suboptimal moves, which are novel, to throw off their opponents. Again, not because they think their opponent can't handle the change but rather to increase the amount of calculation they must perform.

If you're asking about the reinforcement rule it's count the number of territories you control, divide by three, round down. You can never get less than 3.

​@@allenstone9170I always find that player a bit frustrating not because of the ways he plays because he could have gotten the 70 in the first game in thr left bottom corner he did the pathing wrong but is the way he is so confidence that he is right and everyone else is wrong. White warned him during the last game and he disagree. Also I've learned not to listen to people saying "stop you don't have it" because most often than not they are wrong and they are just using noise to distract you that is why Pete and kylted turned it off for their last play.

2 Questions: After you took the bonus on Round 3, red had a chance to break your bonus but didn't. I know you two were allies, but for red isn't it to his disadvantage that you have that bonus? Then, later in the round, after black took out your external troops from the right side of the board, how were you not DOA? Why didn't white break your bonus using his 4 (which you wouldn't necessarily have been able to retaliate on), still get the bonus and prepare to take you the next round? Was it simply neither white or red could kill you off entirely and worried that the other would take it instead on their next turn?

I think that it maybe has to due with everyone being good neighbor on top of Pete being a more emotional player at times which makes his retaliation almost scarier as it sometimes won’t make sense to you. Don’t take this as gospel but that’s my brief buzzed read.
