Makes the custom work from Pinkerton look like the bargain of the year. That is not an evil tanto grind it is an uneven tanto grind. Consistently the right side seems deeper on the front grind than on the left. The truth about the tanto grind is that the point does not perform as well on body armor a finer point, too much surface resistance to compete with a needle point. At list price $275-295 for that serpent it should be perfect, and it may be pretty good but I have not seen a torture test. Guaranteed for life, hmmm so are Taurus. I'm skeptical about anything from California, but a kind word for the Fairies' State, Protech is Awesome and you could get a really nice Protech for $295.

Thank you David! I appreciate the comment. You know pound for pound, price for price the best knife for killing is still an icepick. You can buy them anywhere, they are cheap and disposable, they penetrate easily through most clothing, vests, etc... whoever you take on with it may live to see another day, but those days wont be many depending on where and how often they are stabbed with it. Doctors cant repair the wounds made with it and can only treat the person for infection and so on. The old Schrade "sharpfinger" knives are good too. They can poke and slice. Tha k you for bringing in your comments on the serpent. Its good for folks to see all the drawbacks.

To their credit I think the grind failures have finally been fixed despite their long lasting refusal to do so. Sadly it seems they still refuse to round the terrible end on the Krypteia that keeps cutting folks. Very stubborn folks.

I highly recommend the Canku 1140c It is worth every penny at $25 Buy with a Ulticlip 3.3 Slim $15 Do NOT buy the “Silver” one, they don’t grind the edges correctly on them. The “Black” and “Green” ones are excellent but do to the lack of contrast in edge to blade color on the silver ones, they have been ground incorrectly on each one I’ve gotten.
