Here's my thought. Seth has been a rude jerk for years. Even back in 2016 I was saying so, cause he would insult and mock anyone he debated and would regularly harshly insult his audience and peers. Nobody wanted to listen to me, and a lot of DBTubers swept his behavior under the rug. Now a lot of them are pretending to be shocked and surprised (not gonna name names). Just saying. All of this stuff was obvious and I'm glad Seth is finally getting his comeuppance. Also, Geekdom, good on you for basically being drama-free for 8+ years now. Basically the only drama that ever directly involved you were random idiots making stuff up to try and bring you down. I forgot the name of the guy who did it a ton back in 2017, but I remember you came on stream with him and shut him down with kindness.

Is he likely to change, not in the near future. Notice the lack of remorse in his tonal inflection despite saying that he’s truly sorry. That lack of remorse doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a sociopath but it does mean that at the very least he doesn’t understand why what he did was wrong. And considering the mountain of shit he does wrong if he can’t grasp the big stuff he’s unlikely to realize everything.

I only ever saw one video from Seth, and that video was him debunking Totally Not Mark’s review on GT. Instead of making a response video simply furthering the discussion while remaining respectful, Seth proceeded to be heavily aggressive. That’s when I knew to one, stop watching the video and two, not follow this guy. Clyde opening up about his very personal stuff sounded very real and like he was just letting go of so much pent up crap. I genuinely felt bad for the guy and cried when he opened up about his childhood. I’ve since subbed to him (loving his Bleach content especially 👍) and Im hoping he can push past this and that Seth doesn’t leave this situation scott free. Then again, we do have to see his side of the story. Though, I’m really doubting it’s even that good with all the evidence Clyde brought up. Even accounts from other people that were affected by Seth like the girl and the animators working on Naruto vs. Ichigo. Aint no way, congrats Geekdom! 8 years and hopefully many more to come, been watching for 5 I think personally 👍

Classic sociopath behaviour tbh and once you give them any semblance of power / authority, morals are off the table. The signs were there but folks kept enabling his aggressive and controlling nature, even towards his debating opponents (it didn't matter if the opponent was calm, collected and/or kind). Yet another example of why you should never put a complete stranger on a pedestal.

I’ve been a avid viewer of yours for a while. And I gotta say your stance on this sensitive situation is both mature and understandable. Everyone’s experience with Seth is different and everyone’s perception of him is unique. Being a victim of one of his witch-hunts back in 2017, I’ve on,y ever seen him as a bully and scumbag. But the internet has many facades that shield the truth of things from the masses. So I don’t blame your position on this, in fact I’m glad you mentioned it as we know where you stand. Overall though, thanks for just saying your piece and sending love and support to the numerous victims Seth has hurt over his career. Better late then never I guess. Much respect to you fam 👍🏾👍🏾

My only problem is he doesn’t show remorse and he’s admitted he genuinely doesn’t give a fuck about anyone. Like I’m sorry regardless of past but him admitting it is where I honesty draw the line. If KEEMSTAR is the voice of reason you are so far in the wrong. I’m not saying I don’t think Seth shouldn’t get help and be a better person but being so passive after he confirmed everything himself live to the point that KEEMSTAR had to start going off on him just doesn’t sit right with me idk.

Not to mention the real victims in all these watching this vid you’d think Seth just said some edgy jokes or that it wasn’t that bad. I feel the same. It rubs me the wrong way how some people are more worried about telling Seth to get help than giving support to his viticms. Getting abused doesn't give anyone a free pass to be an abuser, and that's assuming Seth did get abused.

I watched quite a bit of the stream yesterday and it was rather heartbreaking. It sucks that all this happened, but I really think at the end of that stream Seth finally felt remorse and does want to seek help. Hearing about his upbringing was horrible and by no means does it justify anything he did, but just like you said children that are brought up in such brokenness can hurt others. I really really hope he does seek help, and doesn’t go in a downward spiral.

As someone who recently graduated on Law School, I was like "DUDE, SHUT UP!".
