My grandfather is 92. He lives with me. He gets lightheaded and even passes out sometimes. It’s very dangerous and worrying. I saw this at the store and bought it. One day, he passed out, I put this on his face and had him start breathing with it. He almost immediately felt better and got up and walked it off. I personally appreciate this product because it helps my grandfather.

Rather than giving oxygen which can be deadly, you need to investigate the reason behind why he is passing out. What you’re doing is administering a drug. Oxygen is a drug and you can get oxygen poison. Lucky the mask on this probably won’t cause over oxygenation. Imagine your grandfather has low RBCs due to a health condition and instead of investigating what’s up you just give him oxygen. That’s exactly what you’re doing though…

This is an old episode. Boost Air is now sold at all Walmarts and Walgreens. They are sold like crack rocks in high altitude areas like Colorado. Then Covid hit, and they sold millions of these. Football teams even stock them on the sidelines to recover from a big run, without having to buy an expensive medical oxygen setup. One of the most profitable deals in Shark Tank history.

I live in Colorado, and therefore know about this product & have seen it help people with the altitude. I was diagnosed with COVID-19 last month & my Dr said my oxygen was a little lower than they like, so told me to pay attention to my breathing & go to the hospital if it got worse. I thought of this product so had my daughters go buy some for me. When I’d get into a coughing fit & just felt like I couldn’t get a deep breath in, I used this & it helped so much. I had never heard of it used for COVID-19 yet, but have told others about how much it helped me & how it’s a simple way to get needed extra oxygen at home.

Or if someone has lingering effects from Covid they may use this once or more a day. As others have pointed out, when you’re hiking or otherwise in high altitude environments, your blood oxygen level can be affected as well. So yes there are numerous use cases. The problem is that they are trying to sell it as a common use item, and people wont buy it, we dont need more oxygen to be well, we are doing fine, is not a necessity. Like the shark said, they are trying to educate people on an issue they dont even know they have, and that will lead them nowhere. Now, if the "marketing" lets say, of the company or the item itself, was not selling as a "common use item" to improve your quality of life (Wich can, or cannot, but it doesnt make a huge difference) was instead to sell it as an item FOR medical issues, like a replacement for respirators, for example, or for professional athletes (who are well versed on the problems of lack of oxygen, for example hikers) then it would be a completly different story. I see potential on this, they just didnt take the right focus for their item. And the sharks have really good and solid points to not trust in them, at least for now.
@ignacioariellopez8491
@ignacioariellopez8491 2 жыл бұрын
Its an item that does close to nothing to improve the quality of life of normal people, but an item that can save lives for a really specific and small group of people, and item that can be vital and that is a really, really good alternative on the market. Now guess, based on the way they sold the item to the sharks, wich of those 2 groups of people is their intended public. Thats the real issue here.

I would even pregame it so get more oxygen in my body/blood and it would let me do more walking and help me kickstarting my body getting used to working out again.
