Researched and found out Mark's deal went through and kudos to these guys for holding true to their word and donated $80k+ from when this episode went live on tv. Their website is still up and running and they also sell through other avenues with the company's value now worth $1 million. I really hope they continue to succeed given their different approach to selling with their sliding price scale. Plus I loved Mark's last comment in this ep shown "I'm so not worried" lol

So throwing out 100 million dollars would actually be quite a risk, considering how that is a loss that could potentially grow over time (for example: Selling stocks of Company A to get the money for Company B. Company A gets more value, while Company B fails --> the loss growths).
