Just got here by way of Mr. Robert Fripp himself. This resonates with me in a way that goes way deeper than a "cover", however good: it's music distilled to its purest form, transcending even the physicality of instruments.

Amazing. I now have three favorite versions of this song. The original KC record, your a cappella version, and the version I just heard a few days ago at the BEAT show in Durham. The original always a great organic+mechanical vibe to it. Your version shows the organic sides important role in integrating the mechanical. The BEAT version, especially the Vai solos add an element of “organic by way of talking with alien birds” to the aesthetic which I enjoyed immensely. Great work!

What wonderful music to wake up to this cool Sunday morning. The song Sheltering Sky was absolutely unlike anything else when it was first released. This version is a surprising delight that makes one remember the goodness of the sky, the purpose of music, to uplift and sustain.
