I thought that was Jim Carrey’s face in the end. Nicholson face, in the original is more zombie-fire with an underbite. This was a cleaner face with Jim Carey’s overbite.

I watched The Shining nearly a week ago and I remember watching Nicholson's portrayal of Torrance in his injured state, and here, I am taken aback by how much Carrey's replicate version is nearly indistinguishable from Nicholson's take. The strained breathing, the keen maniacal eyes looking not for his son.. but for blood.
