The Rhyme structure IS called Metrum and metric for pronsunciation Then there IS the Matrix IS Like aa abab and so on In Music Theres No free way to do this unless you can produce different time signatures So normally you have to place your verse into the 4/4 structure rhymes coming in the snare , whats the easiest way But you dont need to do IT this way but the Mainstream Music and listeners are Programmed to this simple Thing If you can create Melodie you dont necessary need to Rhyme this way then they also do Unterstand you The way you rap and sing on a Beat IS simply rythm so Note length You can compate IT to hihat and Percussion and their placings and how fast they can appear or Long Trap hihats IS Like Rap flow without voice melody Rap IS a Feeling , so First the only Thing you need to do IS Timing your rhymes on the snare or close to the snare and staying in the 4 Bars If your meaning Slogan or Intension of the verse Ende every four Bars then you can start or continue your Intension of the Song You can also skip on a 8 bar to end an Intension or sentence But more than 8 Bars from exoeriences IS breaking the listeners Attention . But Sometimes the real Art and Music IS coming by Styles Not relying on this structure But ITS mostly No dance Music only when the flow so melody of the voice and the instrumental can keep everything work8ng Out Thats the reason why the Most Music IS very stupid and absolutely simple Only a very few can Express very deep and outstanding Messages or knowledge Eminem for example never wrote a Song Like this Not a single one But other Rappers Not Mainstream stars did , even some pop artists . Normally you dont need to know about what you are doing as Long AS you can place yourself into a rythm rhyming on the snare The Rest will come by itself once you can Rap on a Beat The next step after rhyming on a Beat IS changing your Style But AS you See the greatest artists dient Changed they Always repeat the Same Thing Andre 3000 from outcast Changed His Style , Eminem never die For some reason they want you to have an Main Image to identify ITS your Music , If you dont follow this the Mainstream listeners and Major Labels wont See you AS a Star But the greatest Music IS written by ghostwriters and they created many different Styles If you Look at DMX he never tried a different Style He created His Style and ITS one of the best Rap Styles but He never came up with another one Sadly thats away of self limitation Whatever you do or want ITS your decision But orten ITS a decision between Money Fame and real Art They all say that the Music industry IS Open minded but ITS only when they cant ignore your Hype Theres a Lot of great unknown Music Out there Charts IS Like MC Donalds and Burger King But Theres No real reason for this but Power and rulership also mind manipulation Also If maybe a Lot of These people dont notice they are stuck in IT Many People IS Just Happy with their self Ego and their competition and ignorant Attentional Thing Because they need success to feel right

Honestly, this channel is underrated! Cole, you are really good at breaking down the art of... For me, the only struggle I'm having is the color scheme of the graphic chart. Then again, I'm not actually trying to become a rapper either. That dream faded in the early 2000s. But I still love to learn things and understanding things.

I loved the explanation of "intent" in different rap song types. I was having a debate with someone the other day and they said Dax wasn't a good rapper, after listening to "The next rap god". His argument was "yes he can rap fast but his punch lines are trash because you can't even remember a single one he'srapping too fast" My argument was "He's doing that on purpose, his skill level is on point. His punches are fantastic if you play it back and break them down he's just rapping so fast that by the time one punch lands with you he's already dropping another one. Which is what he intended to do, showing his speed and ability to spit his bars clearly at that speed." Hence why he says this is his application for the next rap God. Mind you this same dude argued with me that the song also wasn't "freestyle" because it was written, so... take from it what you will.
@ColeMizeStudiosАй бұрын
lol yeah the whole freestyling thing is a constant debate which I've tried to educate people on but some people just refuse to believe that rappers will spit written lyrics during a freestyle. Yeah Dax is dope! Exactly, Dax's whole purpose in that song was to show off his rap skills, so his main purpose wasn't just punchlines, is was showcasing all of the other techniques well. Thanks for watching Donnie, glad you enjoyed this video! ✌😎 - Cole Mize

@donniedyer4869 @@ColeMizeStudios 100% my freestyles are real, it's clear also because you will here like literally me saying a word that was wrong one and paying attention would make you go huh? Because it makes no sense, haha. Also, my slur. I love dragging sounds but I tend to do it a ton more on freestyles. I look at it like this, if I have 0 mistake and you are not Harry or that British dude, it wasn't real one, haha. On Dax, that's crazy. Dax is a beast, a gem that is about to be one of the next biggest. "Time" is catching up to his style finally. Yeah freesyle is like 3 terms now. Freestyle like Dax's meaning it's a vauge topic, then what I (I'm 41) consider freestyles

lol it's all good Shrapnel. I always considered freestyling strictly going off the dome as well. Then one day I seen this old Big Daddy Kane interview of him defining what freestyling was 👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGbImKqIpM55m5Ysi=HsznYLenlOJpEBj8 then I realized growing up, alot of the people I thought were going off the dome were actually spittin' something they wrote. My whole life I was comparing my off the top freestyles to written freestyles and felt horrible! lol It's like how a lot of ladies are comparing their beauty to some chick on IG with a bunch of Ai filters on them lol You may have already seen it but I made a video about all this a few years ago giving some freestyle tips 👉kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKiZf41rfrCVjJYsi=a6NjQ3DAmdGrn977 Thanks for sharing your experience ✌😎 - Cole Mize

One other thing that I think can make a rap song bad is lack of voice complexion. It's outside of the writing process so it wouldn't really fit in with the categories you're talking about, but it can straight up ruin a perfectly written rap song. And I'm not trying to talk shit, I still struggle with it probably more then anything else other then the actual vocal mixing process.

Good point Glenn, the delivery is the acting part of what we do and it sales the emotion of the lyrics. Imagine watching a well written movie but all the actors sucked lol Delivery is probably one of the things I spend the most time focusing on when I'm recording. Dr. Dre is also notorious for spending countless amounts of hours working with artists on their delivery so don't feel bad. Just break down you verse in 4 bar sections and focus on 4 bars at a time and experiment with saying those lines in so many different ways until you think you've nailed it. You can even break down 1 bar at a time if needed. The performance is where the real magic is it! Thanks for watching bro! ✌😎 - Cole Mize

I feel you on that as well. In normal conversation I can make voices and emote, but translating that to raps has been challenging. Good luck to you!

Thanks Nathan, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I can't promise anything about making beat making videos because I want to keep this channel strictly about rapping. And you know me, I go deep into subjects so If I were to teach about making beats it couldn't just be 1 video lol. When I first making videos about rapping I said to myself "I'll probably make about 5 videos and that should cover everything" lol and here I am 10 years later still digging deeper into the topic. But a dope channel I recommend you check out for beat making is Digging The Greats 👉www.youtube.com/@diggingthegreats I hope this helps ✌😎 - Cole Mize
