Mrs Wing rocks. I would totally include my wife as well in such an adventure. And her point of view is more of an outsider which is good in this industry where we spend most of our time convincing ourselves that shoes are great. About the pair, I was feeling them and then saw them on your feet and I will not cop. Like you said it would be to show to my friends and that’s it. The Fastbreak have lunar insoles and are really wearable. Rock em every summer. The 2´s in the pack are pretty good quality.

Great, great, great video!!! I was a ballboy for Paine College basketball team in the early 80's and they wore the white a purple ones, I wanted them so bad, but they didn't have them in my small size. My high school up the street, Richmond Academy, also wore these, same color way white and purple. All the colleges and pro teams wore these before Nike. People don't know. Magic and Bird. I watched history of sneakers from then till now. Amazing. Keep rocking!

That pack was called "The 2 that started it all". It came out the same time as the DMP with the 13-14 in it. I picked up aforementioned pack in my size (13). And the "Fastbreak" looked like a fly swatter in my size. The 2 is o.k. the leather sucks, but hey. It's a 250$ pack, whaddya want uh?

Big fan of you Nightwing and have been watching you for years. Altho this did change the game as well, just want to point out that the first leather basketball shoes that blew ppls minds were the adidas superstar that originally came out in '69 and brought the tech trend of using leather for bball shoes. As Kenny Smith said in OPEN COURT when talking about superstars "back then, if you were willing to buy leather shoes for basketball, you were serious about basketball" (somewhere around that line) Keep up the great work man, I always watch you for the fact that you keep it real and not suck up for specific brands!

Man, the 1st kicks I ever played in were the "Converse Star Player" and then the "Adidas Americana" most my friends were wearing the "TopTen's" which I couldn't afford (my parents couldn't). I really love to watch your videos.You review brands which are not so commercial (Nike...). Good description,everything u need in review. Actually shoes that have good design,quality,rare ones and old school shoes. For particular model all i can say is: They have history,quality,design and are comfortable.(I know no cushion and such,but its ok) I have 2 pairs,the Varvators Hi and now Fort Wayne Pistons ones and I LOVE THEM. One of my basketball heroes, Julius "Dr. J" Erving wore these, so of course, wanting to be like him, I bought a pair and every time I wore them I had a "meh" to "bad" game. I stopped wearing them immediately and stuck with PONY and my favorites, ProKEDS Two-Stripe (The thick and thin model).
