The Shohadaa Poems is a powerful tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Palestinian poets who gave their lives in the fight for liberation. These fearless writers, silenced by Israeli aggression, left behind a legacy of resistance and resilience through their words.
Their art is a rallying cry for justice and freedom that cannot be ignored. No matter how intense their words or how tragic their fate, we will honor these fallen heroes, and ensure that their voices and their cause live on.
'Where Olive Trees Weep' is a poignant, heartbreaking film about the struggles and resilience of Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice. We follow, among others, Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. It features Dr. Gabor Maté as he offers trauma-healing work to Palestinian women tortured in Israeli prisons.
The program expands on the themes explored in the film and provides a larger historical and social context. Access to the program and the film is by donation.

So much in the world is corrupted, distorted. My heart hurts so for the Palestinian people, for all peoples being dispossessed. ..." Put a strawberry seed in one pocket, a pinch of earth in the other from the pot on the balcony..." Heartbreaking when even the clothes with pockets arre not guaranteed, let alone a flowerpot or a balcony. I don't understand this level of inhumanity, of greed for what another people, culture, country has and the willingness to destroy... I can only hope and pray that the insane crescendo of this level of violation on our beautiful Earth is a sign that the wound is erupting, the last poison spewing out so that the wound can be healed. Finally. That there is peace. Honour. Respect. Love. Harmony that flows like a bond between all and evil is gone. 🙏🌿

2:20 , well said, we cannot see the truth unless it happens in front of us and even then we only understand from our own perspectives. But tragedies the scope of conflict and war need a more powerful medium to express their emotion - hence poetry. Love to all the poets of the world and all those working for peace AND justice. There cannot be peace where humanity is not recognized.

Taking the side of peacefulness and nurturing for the well-being of our lives and the lives of others with ending these brutal and criminal attacks on innocent people. Wars are barbaric and they have no morality and no concerns about the lives of anyone who is different from themselves. Enough of the constant wars and hatred for innocent people. Killing is wrong and a grave sin . This unnecessary issue is caused by evil people who are hellbent on destroying the lives of others and their possibilities for existence . Unimaginably cruelty and corrupt ! The world is watching the horror of this happening. We all have to take the time be outspoken and not complacent in this matter of openly murderous actions that are going on right now in Gaza against the Palestinians. Also, in Ukraine and in Africa... this is absurd and not acceptable in our world. Evolution not revolution ❤ Demand freedom to live in peace and harmony ❤
