Cracking job on the Carrion Crows..I use this method too on them and magpies with either the FAC Airgun or the .22 Rimmy….

Great video! I just didn't like how you didn't finish off the wounded crow you shot at 8:39. It was clearly visible that it moved its head around the whole time it was laying on the ground and as soon as you shot the next crow it flapped around to get away. As much as I understand that they can be a pest in some areas they still deserve a quick and ethical ending. That is a hunter's duty. But great shooting overall! Greetings from Germany

Great job. What distance are you are shooting at? I mean the .22lr is a great caliber, and very quiet with a good moderator, but the ballistic makes it a little hard if you shoot at different distances. Great video👍😊

Hello, nice rifle. Why do you have a strip of velcro in the thumbhole on the stock?
@E.lectricityNorth6 жыл бұрын
If you like that one Stuart, you should try it in .17 HMR. It will knock your socks off. You'll be hitting crows in the eye at 200 yards every shot. You will just see a poof of feathers floating away on the breeze with a body shot.

You cannot beat the dull thud of a rimmy bullet or airgun pellet hitting a carrion crow...

where did you get the stock for that rifle

Stuart is a good shot, I know this, but that Savage rifle is a straight shooting piece too,.I have one, and these Savage's are accurate. I wonder what ammunition was used here. Peter usually shows this towards the end, but it was missing here in this video. P.S. Is Stuart loosing a bit of weight? It looks like he is, and it looks good (off ) him.

Excellent vid once again. What's the barrel length of the savage. Many thanks. Chris g

I imagine shooting them over decoys with shotguns would achieve better results unless he prefers his method

Did you use sub-sonic ammo ?

You can't beat a .22 for small game and vermin. Great fun. P.S That's an unusual picture behind your head.

using .22lr is not a cost effective way of reducing corvids in any great numbers, at 10-15p per round and the time taken you would do a better job with a couple of ladder traps. interesting video though... on how not to do this job

Not sure I've ever paid more than 8p/rnd for 22lr.

I have to say that this is total overkill, a job that can be done by a sub 12lb air rifle, just like you blanked out the comments and removed them by myself and SH for .using a 223 to blow away grays in the open field. cost per shot £3 to the tax man. Air gunner Nothing. I suggest to you that you start to focus on the benefits of air guns before we get the crap of scotland.
@clarky44926 жыл бұрын
He is using a .22lr which is rimfire. Not a .223 rem centrefire. .22lr is cheap to use and doesnt require as much accuracy as an airgun
@murdoch4516 жыл бұрын
Please watch again 223, my self and SH were removed for our comments on overkill as we hit a nerve.

Sorry guys have to say that this is a heavily edited video of the one that I originally commented on. 223 grey @ 200 yrds. not the first time that me and SH have been censored from this channel.
@darrenarmstrong2086 жыл бұрын
He's using a 22lr. I have no problem using my 223 on greys during lambing season . It's very hard to get close to greys and shots usually be taken at great distance
