As a teenager in the 80s remember those cold war days well. Was anxious about it like everyone but it was normal & not something you thought about every day. But there was never a direct confrontation between USA & USSR. Not even the beginnings to a lead up. Ukraine is a bit different. Feels realistic a nuke could be actualy be used. That was never in the cards in the 80s. Saying that would rather laugh about it than worry.
