When the ball I'm kicking is on the first diamond line, I just use that as the end rail, and I just shift the numbers up a diamond. I make the second diamond one and ten. It works out the same. If it's half a diamond off the end rail, I just use the half diamonds as 1,2,3...

I love this system. I do have a question. How do you compensate if the cue ball is of the rail say 1/2 diamond, 1 diamond etc. Thank you.

Good question! I usually find the nearest diamond reference line for the kick and using a parallel shift technique to adjust my aim... When you have practice this type of kick so much you tend to pick up a natural feel for the angle
