Building on the Sid System

Master Instructor Anthony Beeler will teach you how to apply the "Beeler shift" to the existing Sid Banner System. For the first time ever, the shift will allow you to use this popular kicking system to kick at balls in the middle of the table (not just the ones nestled against the side cushion).

I recently found this system and i become a big fan of it. Its very accurate. With this "hack" i now hit balls almost everywhere without doubts because this system also works on the side cushions halfs, we just have to rotate the system. Congratulations on this idea, i strongly recommend SID. Tryed many system on the past, and none of them was 100% acurate like this.

I learned it this is system from Scott Rohleder in his ten part video about pool. I never thought about adjusting and numbers over to simplify it though. Thanks a lot I probably know half the systems that are out there and use the ones I like. Been playing pool for 55 years nearly and still learn something everyday, why I love the game I guess. Why dont you play tournaments anymore or do you still compete? I cant wait till i can get one on one lessons in person with this man.. its not the money i can get that its time away from my job too go out too Kentucky is the hard part.. Me and my wife are truck drivers and dont have a lot of time too practice or play maybe one day a week if im lucky at best.. I do own a brand new 9ft pro am diamond pool table which i absolutely love and wish i could use everyday.. the good news is i do own a table and have all the quipment necessary to play and or practice just need a teacher some guidance and knowledge..

how do you calculate if the cue ball is in between diamonds

Question... why does Walt Harris from - Billiards Atlas say in his book that instead of using Cue Ball numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, & 4 on short rail... that you can also use 0, 2.5, 5.0, & 7.5 starting from corner pocket where number 5 would be for Object Ball... it is confusing why he said this can you explain why??? If you go to Dr Dave's site & look under area for banks & kicks & see what Bob Jewett said you will see what I meant... any help is appreciated...

Probably a completely different system that is similar to SiD. If you change one end rail’s numbers the other end rail must change too. Probably just a different set of numbers on both end cushions. These are the original Sid numbers that I am using in the video. Hope that helps. I haven’t really seen what you are talking about so I can only speculate.

How do you number the cueball if it's down the long rail?

Corner is four as shown. The long rail diamonds go up in increments of 1 so it would be first diamond 5... second 6....third 7 etc. Love to have you in my online class.
