Casemiro will help them solve their defensive midfileder problems, meaning that they wont be losing 4-0 to small clubs. Now they need to get a box to box midfielder, both Bruno and Eriksen are creative and they need someone who is creative but helps defensively. If they get a working midfield and still struggle to get goals it is clear that the problem will be the wingers, sancho and rashford have been shit and need to improve or they will be substituted.

It didn’t help that the CDM market right now is flying right by United’s head, which makes it annoying that we couldn’t save the €70 million by going for a player like Sangaré or even Amadou Onana

Casemiro is perfect, Grillitsch on free would be great understudy and possible partner at times. Belotti on free as understudy upfront would also help the limited options in CF. Wait for FDJ or utilise current squad, Fred or Mctominay would be good no8 in front of Casemiro alongside Bruno/Eriksen. I can't see Man Utd signing a RB, CDM, CM, RW and ST. Realistically I could see Casemiro £60mill CDM (marquee), Grillitsch free CDM/CM/CB in back 3 at times, Belotti free ST. With rest of transfer window used to loan out young High potential players that won't break in first 20 and possibly add youngsters in key positions like RB, ST who may be added to squad, loaned out or developed in U23 and brought in to cup games

I think Diogo Dalot I a good player... I find it strange that they don't trust him, he was playing really well with Milan and I remember that they did not want Milan to buy him ,cause of his performance! He played as a deputy to Theo Hernandez (LB) as well , so he can play of both flanks, and he attacks really well... Same can be said about the other Portuguese fullback( I forgot his name) in United, both are descent attacking fullbacks who is a shadow of themselves when they play for United

To be honest , PL teams should be ashamed with their performance in Europe , when u think of the amount of money they are earning .... I remember Serie A in the 90's when they had all the money , they were dominating European stage with total dominance... Manchester City and Liverpool are great clubs and there is no doubt about it, but I feel there is a huge gap between the two teams and the other English clubs! I think FIFA should have a look at the deals that the TV organisation are making with certain league or else they will surely see the Super League in process soon , and I'm not against it

An underrrated part of why the Casemiro deal could backfire massively is that his joining will only increase the factionalism in that Utd dressing room. And at the cost to the club, with the ridiculous wages he's on plus the reported 5 year contract, he might end up being hugely problematic if Ten Hag gets his way and bins off Ronaldo and De Gea.

He would be another failed signing… his defensive numbers have been on a decline - there’s a reason why Carlo andelotti chose to play velverde as a defensive ring winger … also casemiro has been playing in a mid to low block defence at Real for the past eight years and now United comes in and hope he will be the pressing machine they so crave for… that’s baffling… that said, he would be a massive upgrade of McFred…
