Watching here in saudi Arabia but im from Philippines...i have a relationship now just only 2 weeks we meet in online but he introduced me to his family not only family but his relatives neighbours and friends and he planning to marry me as soon as possible he wants me to go in Egypt as soon as possible but i cant go because my contract here in saudi is not finished. Asalam Aleykum sister. I think it's important to mention that Egyptian men are sensitive to how their wife acts. Love is a little more conditional in this culture than in the western one. Egyptian men have certain expectations of their wives culturally and if they are not met he will withhold his love. Wives should act feminine, keep their voices soft don't shout or curse, cook for him, and serve him, if he tells you to do something be obedient, etc. You cannot come from a western culture of shouting at your husband and barking orders at him and expect love from an Egyptian man it won't work! If he asks you to bring him tea or a glass of water you should do it, and not tell him to get it himself with a cocky attitude and then expect love. You should avoid showing your anger even if he loses his you should bite your lip. Egyptian men will love their wives but not if the wife doesn't follow these expectations. Think of the 1950s housewife and that is how Egyptian men want to be treated by their wives. If you are not willing to let go of the western feminist mentality then expect a very hard road ahead with an Egyptian man. If however you are doing all the above and he still doesn't show signs of love towards you then you need to really wake up and get out of that situation.

I've been watching your videos maam. I cannot help but to ask you questions so that I may be enlightened about my egyptian boyfriend. We've been dating online for almost 7 mos, he wasn't introduce me to his family yet, though I am not demanding that to him because I respect his desicion. there are times that he was so sweet and call me everyday but there are times that he doesn't and it takes 2 days or 5 days for him to call me. And when I asked him he always explained to me that his job is not so easy, he was an egyptian army. And not everyday he has his phone. I kept understanding his side but I overthink again and again. And when he got home, yes he informed me but later on I don't receive any call or message from him. I am confused and at the same time overthinking. Can I asked what shall I do? Is he serious?

@@TheNiqabGirl I am 20 (will turning 21) this year. Basically we were just chatting about learning language since I am learning Arabic and he wants to improvise his English. At the same time, both of us are learning German language too. We know each other through the language exchange website last year. He taught me & often correcting my Arabic. We had a voice call several times before to practice speaking the language together. I could say this relationship is just a friend but I started to catch a feeling (cause he never talk about bad things, never being flirty, respect me & always reminds me of God) but I don't want to easily falling in love cause I never meet him in real life yet plus I'm still young, need many things to ponder about and developing myself first right.
