One of the Order of Silences time craft is shown in *_The Lodger_* [the episode that introduces Craig - James Corden, who had a flat to rent which the Doctor took]. The upper floor of the house is the craft, which is basically a attempt to copy the TARDIS. The chameleon circuit works on the Silent memory principles as everyone just assumes that there's a second floor on a one story building. The same set was used for the Silent base in 1969.

Originally Dorian was supposed to be Captain Jack Harkness, hence that was the way that he became the _Face of Bo._ But scheduling conflicts meant that John Barrowman wasn't available as he was committed on a US series so the character of Dorian was substituted.

no more so than previous eras. in fact often more so than some of the crap in the rtd finales. have you seen the end of time part 1 lol? what the stories meant for the doctors character (his growing status in the universe that rtd started, his name, his approach to things) they were the real focus of the era and they were amazing. it mostly all made sense unless you are thick anyway.
