Well, but the problem is that a successful artist usually goes further away and away from real life problems when they age. It gets harder to relate to them, because what really you have in common other than being made out of flesh? I've met her. She's far prettier in real life (she was 47ish when I met her so after all of that plastic surgery, we are not talking about the same face). I don't like who she's become at all. That said, she has good music because she takes chances. What a shame that American radio avoids her like the plague because of her age. Chrissie Hyde (the Pretenders) just released an album, "Relentless". She's another example of an artist still in her musical prime but because she's in her 70s the industry is a no radio play on her as well.

For probably 26 years Madonna has been ( still has to be considered...but ) one of the greatest artist in music. My opinion she should have nominated for Evita, the only time that she had been approved by the Silver Screen giving an exceptional performance. I read somewhere and in agreement that the artists that have influenced musically, naturally for different reasons the 20th century are: Elvis, Beatles Rolling stones Michael Jackson and Madonna. Personally Living for love nothing new nothing not already heard, and I'd saved maybe 30 seconds of the music. The video is not that good either and her dancing it's a deja- vu of her year yesterday.
